Results from Wigan on Saturday 19th September

CARL DILCS – Won the British Master Light-Heavyweight title with a 10 round points win over tough Yorkshire man Billy Boyle who never stopped marching forward throwing dangerous over hand rights. Carl handled the pressure well and looked like he was to get a stoppage at the end of the 5th round when a left hook to the body folded Billy in half , only for the bell to save him. After the half way stage the gulf in class became more apparent and Carl cruised to a 98-93 victory that lines him up well for a crack at the Super-Middleweight prize-fighter due late November .

JACK ARNFIELD– The 20 year old confirmed his position as one for the future moving to 11-0 with a hard but comfortable win over Lee Noble who is a good test for anyone. Jack was a bit rusty after a little break but soon got going to dominate most spells of the contest and well deserved the points victory.

STEPHEN JENNINGS – Another promising youngster who can throw a decent left hook to the body , this shot crippled Henry Janes twice before the referee jumped in to stop the inevitable , a good performance on his 2nd pro fight.

JON KAYS – Gave a very composed boxing display against Anthony Hanna and the points victory has set him up nicely for his first title shot in Huddersfield on the 31st October. Jon is to try and revenge his only loss to Craig Johnson and they will compete for the Super-Featherweight Master title.

NICK QUIGLEY – Moved to 4-0 as a pro with a points win over the durable Karl Allen who again competed well but was outworked by the Liverpool youngster who has a very high work rate that combine with his in your face style makes for good viewing.

http://WWW.VIPBOXING.TV – Launches on the 12th October 2009 and will be the only place to see the above fights and much more.

MIKE ROBINSON –Is out in France doing altitude training and sparring ready for his derby contest against Paul Edward on the 23rd October.

http://www.vipbe.co.uk – Has tickets on sale for next Sundays ‘Riot at the Reebox’ featuring Alex Matvienko defending his master title against Omar Gummatti and the ‘War of the Roses’ show topped between Jamie Moore and Ryan Rhodes on the 23rd October 2009 at Bolton arena – both events have solid undercards.
