1911-09-25: Sid Smith vs. Stoker Hoskyne

The entry's text says, "Should NOT be considered title fight since the bout was fought with two-minute rounds" while 20 rounds x 3 minutes are recorded. It should also be specified which title was not at stake.

Sid Smith's record

The World Heavyweight Title was not at stake nor the Polish Bantamweight Title.

In this case it seems to make sense to specify which title was not at stake. The phrase "Should NOT be considered title fight" is not added to every nontitle fight (which would be pointless) but to this one, which may suggest that for whatever reason -- perhaps it was claimed somewhere -- one could believe that it is a title fight.

EDIT: "Billed British 112lbs title" has been added to the comment field.
