Holy sh*t is that for real??!! I'm still picking Haye to win by KO but if that pic hasn't been doctored the size difference is staggering. Valuev really does look like a prehistoric throwback - his head is literally twice the size of Haye's!
Oh, and no-one will be questioning Haye's guts, whatever the outcome of the fight is

A mouthwatering clash without a doubt. I'm going for Haye to outbox him (he'll have to - pepper him with fast punches to befuddle the big chap) otherwise it's the Russian's strength that's going to wear Haye down for a late stoppage.

I'm not suprised by them sparing each other, when I saw Haye at 'that' fight I thought it would be great for both of them to spar together.

Haye needs it to get used to fighting taller men and Fury needs it to get used to fighting classier fighters. No wonder Haye was very complimentary about his last fight.

Looking at these photos I can't help but be worried for David Haye, although I still can't see him losing. I would love to meet Valuev just to see someone so big. I have come across some great big blokes before (I cross paths with a guy who his friends say is 6'11" and he is huge, with a massive noggin, but kind of willowy. I also dealt with a guy who was 6'9.5" and well over 20 stone -fat- at work who tried to intimidate others with his size. It worked on most people but if you fronted him out he backed down. The biggest guy I have ever seen was a Chinese guy at Ta Gou school in Shaolin, China. They had him out lifting weights in the sun and he was ripped. We didn't get out a set of scales or a tape measure but I would hazzard a guess that he was 6'9" and 19 stone of bone and muscle- no body fat at all. We were in awe of this dude. I assume he was a San Dar -that's phonetic I don't know how it's spelt- boxer because that's the area we were all training in) but nothing in Valuev's league he is a BEAST. He's still listed as 7' on boxrec although judging by these photos the extra 2" that appears every now and again isn't just a load of guff to promote the fight but more like the truth so I can't imagine what it would be like just to stand next to him, or as someone once said "under him".

But er... Back to the topic. Has Fury come on record to say anything about whether he is going to take up the offer or not? I read that he didn't think Haye was a 'real' fighter in, I think, Boxing News a little while ago, so I think he should take him up on it. I would pay to watch those sparring sessions. They should raffle off a couple of chances to sit in on them for charity. I think almost every British boxing fan would buy a ticket!

"David Haye is eager to spar with young heavyweight Tyson Fury ahead of his showdown with WBA title holder Nikolai Valuev in November.
Former undisputed cruiserweight king Haye will take on the 7ft 2ins Russian giant in Germany on November 7 in only his second fight in the heavyweight division.
Fury, meanwhile, who was fortunate to maintain his undefeated record when awarded victory in his last fight against John McDermott, has long complained about a dearth of willing sparring partners.
And at approximately 6ft 8ins tall he could provide Haye with a good opportunity to test his skills against a much larger man.
"If Tyson Fury is available, then yes," Haye said. "I'm around at the moment and if he's got a fight coming up I am more than willing to spar with him. He doesn't have to pay me, that's for sure!
"If he wants to come down and do some work with me I'd more than appreciate it and I'm sure he would also."

Regardless of whether Haye gets Fury in the ring or not, the Londoner's trainer Adam Booth is confident his charge has the skill to adapt to Valuev's size.
"I don't necessarily think Valuev's style is wrong for David," Booth said. "He's always thrived on taller and bigger opponents and ever since he was young he has always sparred with people heavier than him.
"But we're not underestimating Valuev. There's an easy, obvious statement to make about Valuev that he's big so he's slow.
"But he's actually not that slow, if you look at the tapes of his left hand. And he's very effective at going 12 rounds.
"Although he's even admitted himself he is still learning to box, he's only got to be a certain percentage of what other fighters have to be because he's got those attributes of his height and his weight to carry him along.
"You have to look at what he does best, not what he does worst, so we'll prepare David for what Valuev does best and then have the answers for that."

Come on then Fury, step up to the plate and put your money where your great big mouth is and i would like to know what the worlds hardest street fighter sorry i mean BIG BAD John Fury would think of that.
