Ike the President?

Does anybody know what happened to Ike Ibeabuchi? His record shows that his career ended in 1999. I haven't followed boxing (obviously) for awhile, but when I did it seemed that the "president" was a strong up and comer. I remember him TKOing chris byrd with fierce, powerful hits. Just wondering, thanks.

He's got some serious mental problems he needs to work out before, if ever, stepping back into the ring (given if he gets out of trouble in time to make a comeback in boxing)
