Haye v Valuev trip details

Post by Shirow »

I thought i'd wait this time until i had all the facts before putting up a post this time. I'll keep updateing this post rather than make more posts.

Lastest News: 24/9
The standing section might have seats put in after all, they haven't decided. The total arena capacity is likely going to be around 8000.

I've got flights reserved from Stansted to Nuremberg (the only direct flight from the UK) on Friday morning coming back Sunday early evening, rooms at the Hilton and a meeting room on hold for a planned pre fight food/drink and big screen boxing get together.

Here's the seating plan
Image

Lower tier £30
Floor seats £55 (rows 6 - 10)
Floor seats £95 (rows 11 - 17)
Outer ringside - £155 (first five rows)
VIP Ringside - £510 (row C or D, including complimentary food, drink and afterparty)

I'm looking to do the flight, return airport transfers, 2 nights in the Hilton (1/2 mile from arena) & floor seats in rows 6 - 17 for £445 or the lower tiers for £380.

Let it be known if you want you name put down before i email people on my mailing list and the ad in this weeks Boxing News goes out.

Cheers

Hi Jon. I'm one of the guys on your e mail list, but I've already sorted my accommodation and travel myself. Just curious how you know about the fight ticket prices, mate? Cheers, Carl.

The ticket prices are very reasonable - EUR15 for upper tier/standing to EUR150 for ringside.

I'm not on my computer right now so i can't post the seating plan, i'll do that this evening.

I'm looking to do the flight, return airport transfers, 2 nights in the Hilton (1/2 mile from arena) & floor seats in rows 6 - 17 for £420 or the lower tiers for £400.

Another thing to add here is that someone at the Press conference has stated to me the Arena looks very small - it fits 7500 and the person stated there is not a bad seat in the house.

I honestly believe the fight will sell out quickly so come on guys - use Jon (Queensbury) and book your tickets!!! :TU:

Nice one, yeah, would be good to have a few drinks with some fellow boxing fans, especially as I'm travelling alone. I'm already booked into the Hilton, so maybe I'll catch up with you when I get to Nuremberg on the Saturday afternoon.

Yep, those seats look good - are they lower tier? I've always preferred to have a bit of a vantage rather than looking UP (and you will be with Valuev!) through the ropes. :box:

I've got a ticket in Block 116, not quite square on, in the lower tiers though, which is perfect. All the blocks that start with a number 1 are lower tier.

This seems like exceptionally good value. The ticket prices are really quite low!

Great Value for the lower Tier. Lower tier are probably the best views in big arena fights. That would be nearer to 100 if it was over here.

Got that ticket direct from the official ticket agent at http://www.ticketonline.com It was a 53 Euro ticket, which is a great price for such a good view. If you don't particularly like the initial seat that they allocate to you, click on continue shopping, then enter the same details again and it will come up with a new block and new seat for you, whilst still retaining your initial seat in your shopping cart too. When you get one you're happy with, just delete all the ones you don't want from your cart, and go to the payment screen. Hope that helps mate. Am still looking for drinking buddies when I get there on the Sat afternoon, the more people we can get out there, the better :-)

I've already booked everything actually.

Booked for me and my wife (who is Russian and said she will be supporting Valuev!!) to go. Bought tickets through Ticket Corner. Got Block 103 row 3 tickets so not square on to the ring but should be a really good view as its right at the front of the lower tier. Paid 50 Euros each plus delivery charge of 15 Euros.

We also booked a room in the Hilton for 91 Euros including breakfast.

Flying out from Stanstead to Munich (£48 return) on the Saturday morning and will get a train from Munich to Nuremberg.

Should be quality and actually works out cheaper than going to see a show in the UK if you are travelling to a city which isn't close.

I think i got ripped off!! Just bought tickets of seatwave for £30 each...face value: 15 euros! We will be in the upper tier block 210 row 7. Is it true that the upper tier is standing?

Looking for a cheap hotel around there, any recommendations?

The Upper tier is standing unfortunately mate although the arena is fairly small so you shouldn't have a bad view. Not wanting to make you feel worse mate but there were still plenty of lower tier seats available for 25 Euros on Ticket Corner.

Hotels: Well the Hilton is 65 Euros if you don't have breakfast so that's not too bad a price and is 10 mins walk from the Arena.

Does anyone know if there are any lower tier available ?

Am taking my young son (he's 8!), so don't fancy the standing option.

cheers

I'm pretty sure that we spoke on the phone yesterday. So just call me back if you need those tickets.
