Pac is faster than Floyd, hits harder and throws bombs from crazy angles which would seriously test even Floyd's defensive skills. P4P Pac is better, but as Floyd seems to have bulked up during his "retirement" his probable in-ring weight advantage of about 10 pounds might even things out in an actual fight. This thread is about P4P, however, and whichever way you look at it, Pac is ahead. More titles in more weight classes, more future Hall of Famers fought and defeated. And, last but not least, Pac ducks no-one.
I'm not sure he's faster than Floyd. Maybe foot speed, but I don't think he has quicker hand speed than Floyd. I actually agree with DG (twice in a week), I think he is overrated. The wins over Hatton and De La Hoya flattered him against two fighters who were shot and weight drained. Floyd would take him to school and stop him around the midway mark, and Sugar Shane would blast him out in about 3 rounds. I think he beats Cotto though... never rated rated Cotto.
I know that styles make fights but if Manny can overcome Cotto then I think that’s a bigger scalp than the ageing Mosley. 'Sugar' Shane is a dangerous man but there is nothing to suggest that Manny is chinny and outside of the Margarito fight , which still went 9, it's been the best part of a decade since Shane ended a fight before the 6th.
As for PBF beating Manny in 6 that would indicate that either A) Floyd is prepared to take risks against Manny, who hits like a truck, that he wasn't against the much older and bloated JMM which I find unlikely or that B) Manny and team Roach produce a game plan and performance on a par to Arturo Gatti's display and no offence to Arturo (God rest his soul) but Manny is in a different league to him.
I have no doubt that PBF could very well box Manny's ears off but that's more down to Floyd being an outstanding talent than Manny being poor. Certain people, you know who you are he who shall not be named

, are trying to combine the two and that is both illogical and well...stupid. You see that a lot on forums. One fighter produces a great display which makes a completely unrelated fighter $hit somehow. People says ODLH and Hatton were weight drained yet don't acknowledge JMM looking $hit physically and relatively diminutive compared to Floyd. The door swings both ways.
