they didn´t fight several times in Germany. they were made in Germany. Without Kohl and Sdunek they would have been washed out by Don King. And with your famous Mr. Warren they would fight with Harrison for the WBF-belt

Sad but true, mainly due to most of Kens fights being in private sporting clubs which were open to members only, so it was difficult for the general public as it were, to see him fight.
I may be way off on this next point but didn't Kens promoters have a falling out with Boxing News at some time that meant Kens fights in the UK got little press?

Never heard that before, theres certainly nothing about it in his atobiography. Wouldnt surprise me though. Kenny has always been his own man, doing things his own way and looked after during his career for the most part by his father who is a similar character.
Eddie Thomas, his manager during the earlyish part of his career, was also a bit of a single minded individual who seems to have had a somewhat tempestuous relationship with Kenny and eventually split form Buchanan after a falling out.
So I wouldnt be surprised if he fell out with those at Boxing News too. It happened with SN recently too.

Buchanans status at home has really only been recognised belatedly in the last 4-5 years. When Buchanan was world champ, selling out madison square garden, he was desperate for a world title fight in his home town. Murrayfield Ice Rink was identified as the ideal venue, but Edinburgh council reufused the application on the grounds that it would mean cancelling the ice skating or the curling for a night!!
On the other hand the yanks couldnt get enough of the guy.
Unfortunately i've only ever seen a few clips of Ken fight but that surprised me a bit 'cause whenever anyone talks about Scottish boxing the first names mentioned are Buchanan and Watt.
Personally I will always support the Brits but I have more respect for the fighters who aren't afraid to leave their own country to learn their trade.
I was fortunate enough to see Winky Wright beat Dodson (missed Foster and Bingham) and am not surprised that he is number one Light Middle at the moment. Also got to mention Steve Collins, he did it the hard way as well. 8)

Warren intentionally holds his fighters back so they don't do what the Klitschkos did and ditch the promoter and go off to America promoting themselves.
Fighting in Germany was just a stepping stone for the Ukranians, if they were bothered about the German fans, Vitali would be fighting Williams in Germany and not 10,000 miles away in Las Vegas. :P

On a postitive note for the you, the real German heavyweights are starting to come out of hiding now that the big Ukranians have got tired of pounding on them.

at the moment Krasniqi has another position. first of all Harrison must reach his level. Harrison is not ranked in WBC,WBA,IBF or WBO. Luan is #7 WBO and #11 WBC and wants to fight for a real world title next year. why should he then fight Harrison? he has no interest and it would make no sense. Harrison should have reached these positions this year. but he just fought chickenshit this year for a ridiculuos WBF-title. i don´t believe anymore that he will be the MAN. he won´t do better in 2005. he is just a domestic fighter, #4-5 in England...
