I still think you will win the fight if you read my other posts pal!!! - but by your reaction concerning the non show of Ryan at the press conference and also Mr Wood's reaction - I personally think that maybe just maybe its hit home you really are in the big time and this is a massive fight for both you and Ryan and thus the reaction shows there are some nerves there!!

It seems you and Mr Wood are as sensitive to slight critiscms as the football club you support - I might start a campaign on this forum to ensure the timekeeper doesn't give you a few extra seconds at the end of each round !!

Whilst we are here - can you comment on how the training is going and can you tell us who you are sparring - come on Moorsey - get your arse on here and do something like a "daily diary" of what you are up to - if you refuse I am defecting to Ryan Rhodes Supporters Club.

Ha ha, training's going great spud, not gonna give my secrets away pal but sparring partner's are perfect.
If you read my post on the other thread you'll know that the release was made out of more than it was, but hey, if it gets people talking then that's only a good thing.
Your thinking that i've realised this is a massive fight....well I've known that all along, that's why I chose Ryan, I ALWAYS want to be involved in big fights, they bring the best out in me.
Other than that i'm enjoying the build up and the banter, but at the end of it there's gonna be a great fight and that can only be a good thing for british boxing.

Agreed with your post - I honestly believe it is a massive fight for British Boxing and its a brave one to take for both of you and credit to you both for indeed taking it because Frank and Steve could have trawled Europe for a knockover job for you until the world title shot came along. Its about time that there were more high profile fights like this. The undercard is also good and I hope sky pull their fingers out with their coverage.

I honestly do not see why Sky cannot do something like the 24/7 that HBO do - it will gain more interest for Joe Public and if the media get behind this fight to - its an excellent fight and now its up to the media and expecially Sky TV to get some decent hype going concerning this show!!!

Now I am not going to for one single second let you get away with the Man United result last weekend - how lucky were you lot?? - and have you given ricky any sh*t yet? - I would have love to seen his face when that Owen goal went in.

i think 24/7 shows are brilliant and to be honest id much rather watch them about domestic fighters than the likes of mayweather!!! cant wait for the show anyway!!!

24/7-style show is a great idea Spud and I agree that it would be so much more interesting seeing British fighters feature in it - would love to see 'back-stories' on both Jamie and Ryan as they are real characters and it would be great to get a 'behind-the-scenes' feel to their lives and training set-up.
