I saw Carl a few days ago doing hill sprints with his trainer and another lad (it was near Mabgate in Leeds where former 'manager' Rick Manners has his gym, hope this doesn't indicate he's involved with him again!!) He looked in quite phenomenal shape, well down in weight, positively gaunt in the face and handling the sprints with some ease, I wondered then if he had a bout lined up

Really nice kid Carl and on form a very decent fighter, he's had trouble in the past with poor choice of management (Mr. Manners mentioned above) changes of trainer and letting his weight go in between bouts. I really hope can get back to something like his old form and make some decent money before he retires

im not sure mate, unless hayemaker have called a 'time out' until they have a tv deal lined up, and they can focus on this after the valuev fight, as im sure the tv companies will want a tv deal for the world HW champion, well, one of them anyway.

still says on groves web site that he is fighting on the valuev undercard on nov 7, im guessing this is off now.

is that the hill that goes from the back of regent street to Emmaus? its a killer if that's the one I'm thinking of!
