HOW MANY FIGHTS CAN YOU NAME.....?
where a fighter who was knocked down at the VERY END of a round
got EXTRA TIME between rounds beyond the legitimate one minute between rounds
in the break immediately after the round he was knocked down in?

Although contrary to popular belief the break between rounds was only 65 seconds instead of 60. Lots of urban myths about it being anything upto 5 minutes.

Aw, don't spoil it for him and the other haters.
Bert Sugar said it was a 5 minute break so it must be true.

Cribb vs Molineaux I.
Molineaux knock Cribb down, and Cribb's corner were able to buy more time with arugments over bets and stuff like that,
Ali Cooper was nothing compare to this.

Erm, Granberry - Read again mate.
I remember reading some forum fellows referring to Granberry and his affection for Ali
Agreed mate. Ali got a whole 5 SECONDS. Something which the late, great Reg Gutteridge who was ringside and commentating, confirmed along with the time keeper whose name escapes me at this time.Controversial wrote:I assume your referring to Ali?

He has every book and every article that Bert Sugar wrote.
His views depend solely on which Bert Sugar book he is reading at the time he posts.
Re: #1---HOW MANY FIGHTS CAN YOU NAME.....
Everyone knows that video was doctored. Ali got well over the 60 seconds. Very handy for Ali supporters to point to video evidence as if it were sacred.
Re: #1---HOW MANY FIGHTS CAN YOU NAME.....
I'm not getting any answers.
Just members of The Religion of Ali writhing in their agony when the light is shone on their God
and one genius who thinks going back to bare knuckle fighting has any connection to my question.
Writhe, you pathetic members of The Religion of Ali.
You have no answer to this question
except to express your agony that it could be asked.
Now retreat to your local Religion of Ali hallowed inner sanctum
and grovel for your exalted Diety.

How many posters here can you remember who have carried on the same deluded rabid hate campaign against certain boxers for reasons known only to themselves?. Answers on an orange juice carton please. 8)

Re: #1---HOW MANY FIGHTS CAN YOU NAME.....
Also confirming the The Religion of Ali is the best religion.
Re: #1---HOW MANY FIGHTS CAN YOU NAME.....
fatcity has no answer to my question.
He is left to claim that the asking of that question is a "deluded rabid hate campaign".
And collins stooge bengulnaci lets it all hang out:
But still no answer to my question.
LOL

Well Cranberry maybe its becasue you have been asking the same questions over and over for the past half dozen years and people are getting kind of bored with them! lol!. The truth is Ali got careless and got himself floored by a Cooper hook at the end of the round, then he had an extra 6 seconds between rounds when his split glove was replaced. He then came out the next round as bright as a button and knocked the crap outta henry till the fight was stopped. The glove was already split before Ali was floored, it was totally legitimate that the glove was changed between rounds, and Ali would have come out and did the same thing to Cooper whether he had had the extra break or not. Anyone who takes an unbiased look at his career can see that he had marvelous recupertive powers. Cooper would not have one where Liston, Frazier, and Foreman failed.
End of story. Live with it. All the orange juice in the world wont change these facts Cranberry.

What was the question again, gran?
Was it (1) "Will someone be my friend?".
Or was it (2) "Who loves Bert Sugar as much as me?".
Or maybe (3) "Am I an even bigger fool than BRR?".
Well the answers are as follows.
1. Yes, BRR and Irene are awaiting a PM.
2. No one. You are Bert's undisputed number one fan.
3. Yes. But not by much.

Sure I answered it. You just don't actually follow the sport so you aren't aware of the correct answer.granberry wrote:But still no answer to my question.
Re: #1---HOW MANY FIGHTS CAN YOU NAME.....
..when a fighter is clearing his head from virtually being knocked out 5 seconds can make a big difference...

And 2 minutes is even better.jaclem2 wrote:..when a fighter is clearing his head from virtually being knocked out 5 seconds can make a big difference...
Jaclem, you you have to realize that the members of The Religion of Ali here are writhing in agony at this simple question because it shines the light on their media-created god.
And of course with their cluelessness when it comes to the subject they are unable to comprehend in the slightest what you are saying.
