Hatton was on a total different level from Witter
yes it would have been intresting to see when witter was on his Knockout run

but his Run involved some poor opposition

i was at one in Glasgow and he fough a guy called Lucky Samba who was well outy his depth
apaprently Samba got 300 quid for the fight, whats that all about

suppose you could compare it to Hatton vs that american guy Bailey think his name was
but to me Hatton fought guys that were better than Witter in Tszu and Castillo and he fought a lot of tough guys leading up to the Tszu fight.

Maybe if Witters Promoter got him some decent match ups then he would proved he deserved the fight for his ability
rather than just becasue he was challenging Hatton to a fight.

One of our very best, a multiple world champion at two different weights, a guy who put it all on the line, not once, but twice, against two #1 P4P fighters at the time and two of the sports best ever, and came up short.

Calzaghe, unfortunately, will likely be remembered in higher regard than Hatton, but he never came close to achieving, or attempting, what Hatton did. Had it not been for Hatton doing it on the world stage i doubt Calzaghe would have taken the initiative to fight Lacy, Kessler, Hopkins and Jones. Calzaghe never came close to fighting a P4P fighter (excluding the 43 year old B-Hop), never mind the #1, Hatton gave it a go twice. I hold him in much much higher regard than i do Calzaghe.

Avoided Junior Witter shamelessly for years. Overrated and one dimensional. Would have been beaten by most slick fighters of his era, Corley, Witter, Zab, PBF, Pacman etc.

His best win was over Urango. Urango can fight a bit, but it`s not enough to claim greatness.

i agree with the mayweather and pacman bit and castillo and collazo but how do see tzyu as being over the hill at the time they fought he was the no1 at that weight so how was he over the hill??????????
