Re: Vitali Klitschko vs david tua
Vatali wins with Tua retiring in the corner after 8-9 rounds, a 6ft 8 who actually can fight and ticks all the box's in a quality fighter with little to no floors, fighting a 5'10 wrecking ball who can be hit pretty easily and who doesn't tick all the box's.
Vatali wins no doubt.
I would like to see Tua v Haye
Tua Ko 2

Vitali would bust up Tua with his jab.
It would be a repeat of Tua's fight with Lennox Lewis, as we all know that Tua cannot handle jabbers.

I think he might beat wlad though if he can get him on the ropes!!!!
Both vitalis and wlads footwork is good so that's a big if.

That'll be a good fight however probably wont see that til next year or so.
I think a lot of people will go out of their way for that one depending on how Tua shapes up on his road to Vitali. If Tua keeps knocking guys out with his high KO ratio..yep it'll be a good fight.

I may get critiseised here, but Tua looked fairly slow in comparison to his earlier fights. The power was still there but he seemed a little slower. /Maybe it was ring rust we will see in his next fight.
Aganist Vitali or Wlad he would get stopped IMO. Tua has been stopped before as an amature and was dropped right on the bell in the 12th against Rahman.

Tua is too slow and one paced. At 37 yrs of age, he certainly is not any better than he was 10 yrs ago.
He has a punchers chance.
However I am pretty certain another Vitali beatdown would take place, just as painful and probably more one sided than the Arreola fight, the other week.
Shame really, as David never really fulfilled his potential.

Yeah i agree he didnt make his potential, But then again not many guys could have beaten Lennox Lewis at the time he beat Tua. Lewis was a dominant Heavyweight Champion when he trained hard for his opponents.bengulnaci1 wrote:Tua is too slow and one paced. No arguement here.
Im hoping Tua fights and KO's Vitali or Wlad whoever he gets to 1st. They say MMA is taking over boxing 'cos boxing is so boring thanks to the Klitscko jabbers. Thats not their fault they're boring they just got good jabs that tick over the points as well as wear and tear those who dont have a good chin. We got people that obviously enjoy watching the Klitschko's jab they would be like 'ohhh WOW did you see those...jabs'. Take nothing away from the Klitschko's they are the best at the moment but that doesnt mean everyone has lost before they even stepped in to the ring with either one of them. Sure they both have more then their fair share of KO's and having a good jab is VITAL in being a good boxer but somehow people find them boring. I enjoy watching them the Klitscko's are a force at the moment and their intelligence compliments their boxing mentality.
However I'd rather go and watch a Tua fight then a Klitschko fight anyday and most of Tuas critics watch Tuas fights..why?? cos they know they're gonna see some good boxing with a strong chance of a KO. Makes you wonder why you'd criticise someone and then you rush back home drop everything else just to watch the one you criticise.
The greatest Muhammad Ali has a poster on it says 'IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING', and I have my reasons for believing MORE in Ali then anyone in this forum. So just as it strongly possible for Vitali to beat Tua its also strongly possible for Tua to knockout Vitali.
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs david tua
The Klits are simply too big and they both throw excellent straight punches which spells a long hard night for the tuaman.

You know what.. I read that so many times, Im beginning to believe it's happened. It's very easy to picture that in your head and it's almost logic but I'll always support Tua. Even against a 'sure thing' like Vitali Klitschko I'd back the Tuaman, besides their is no victory like an upset victory. I feel that Tua can become a no.1 contender again. I feel that he can beat the top 10 and get another shot at the title.
Klitschko brothers are unique to boxing in the way that they're brothers that are the best in the world at their sport. I mean what are the chances of that happening??...thats just amazing. It's also ironic how the last two letters of their surname spells ko. And if thats not enough their also very intelligent and would have no problem getting a high-paying job.
If Tua fights Vitali it will be a good fight trust me.
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs david tua
At 37 Tua is a year younger than Vitali, who made a comeback last year after a four year break. Vitali is up against 30 year old Kevin Johnson (22-0-1, 9 KOs) in Berne on December 12, so Dave would have to wait until that is over.bengulnaci1 wrote:Tua is too slow and one paced.
