Re: Gabriel Clarke
He's been alright tonight not as good as Andy Kerr but not as bad as usual
Re: Gabriel Clarke
Is ITV part of this PPV thing.... their plugging it all the time... they should be rivals.
Re: Gabriel Clarke
I don't mind Clarke....he's got that Des Lynam appeal for me.....you see him on the Tele and you know it's Happy Days. I think he carries out his job very well, he's informed, and enthusiastic but never too clever for his own good. I like it how he runs around back stage grabbing folk. He's a good grafter and makes for interesting viwing if you ask me.

Not a fan of Clarke...

bit harsh. I don't like Audley Harrison and Terry O Connor sympathisers but apart from that I'm quite rounded.

Re: Gabriel Clarke
When ITV had the Premiership they used to send Gabriel Clarke around the league to do features on managers who were under pressure. Peter Reid told me that he knew he was going to be sacked from Leeds when the 'Grim Reaper' aka Gabriel Clarke arrived at Elland Road for his report. A Miracle happened and Leeds won and Reid survived the day.
Sidenote: 7 days later Leeds were hammered by Portsmouth and Reidy got the bullet.

Yeah on the Thaxton bill where Herbie Hide and Danny McIntosh fought I remembered a great bit of Gabriel Clarke journalism, he spoke to a bloke who does the toilets, then goes to Danny McIntosh and starts interviewing him and asks 'what do you think of the toilets?.....dont answer that' to which McIntosh gave a stare of contmept.
Its journalism like that, that deserves high praise. Terry Dooley should take note, stop asking about how John Murray's training is going, we want to know what colour his shit is and stuff like that.
