Incase you didn't know, Emlyn Hughes died at the age of 57 in the early hours of this morning. This was after a 16 month battle against a brain tumour.
As a life long Liverpool fan my sympathy goes out to his family.
Rest in peace Crazy Horse...you'll never be forgotten.

Whilst I can never remember him play, to captain Liverpool during that era speaks volumes. He did the right think electing to play for England aswell.
I remember him fondly on Question of Sport and playing his computer game on the commondore 64.
"eeeeeewww.... Hang on David, its on the tip of my tongue".

Was reading the paper today and although it's awful, you look at all those pictures of him holding up this trophy and that trophy, playing for England, getting his OBE at the Palace etc... the guy lived life to the full – and what a wonderful player. 665 games for Liverpool and could play anywhere – midfield, centre back you name it, and scored some cracking goals!!! How much would he be worth nowadays?
Then you read about donuts like Kieran Dyer on God-knows how much (£60,000 is it?) a week, whinging about being played out of position and bitching with the manager. Makes you sick doesn't it?
RIP Crazy Horse.
