- Top-o-the list looks almost a year out of date.

Ricky retired and Haye to be going plop-plop on the canvas after Valuev chews him up and ejects him.
Hatton has not retired and Haye has not yet been knocked out by Valuev. Who would you have above Haye?
BroughtonRulesRefuge wrote:Froch is first rate, first class and rightly undefeated. Brits never get behind their best. The guy outboxed the undefeated future LH champ of the world down the stretch. Then he banged the seven sausages out of the fighter who sent Mr. Pops fleeing the middle division for the oldtimer's LH retirement division.
Hatton has proven himself to be able to beat World class fighters on a consistent basis, whilst Froch has not yet been able to prove himself capable of doing the same. If Froch beats Dirrell and Kessler then he will almost certainly take the top spot, unless Hatton has had an impressive comeback win before Froch has done that.
BroughtonRulesRefuge wrote:Finally, Fury the best heavy of the lot would've cleared out the prizefighter tourney if he could be bothered with such small potatoes and lists. The King is still King whether he be in swaddling cloth or fully arrayed in royal finery overseeing all from his throne, so don't you gents forget it.
Fury has not done anywhere near enough to qualify for a place in the top 30 P4P.

- Oh, maybe the Queen's purse and then Amy Winehouse followed by Haye, "They tried to make me go fight Klitschkos, but I said 'no, no, no' "

I think Horse's list is gradually improving, he offers consistent explainations and obviously affords this a fair bit of thought.

He is perhaps a little tardy on the retired fighters issue.

Yeah, I liked his explaination as to why McCloskey wasnt in the top 15!!

Darren Barker, Anthony Small, Jason Booth and John Simpson all above McCloskey!! sheesh! shur der no point in even discussing it!

You don't seem to like Haye, but surely he can be no lower than third on a reasonable list.

Yes, I think the list is getting better.

I think if I drop fighters who have lost a fight a little bit lower than I have been doing then the list will improve further.

I had already discussed McCloskey's ranking two other times in the thread. I didn't know what else to say.

I think McCloskey is lower than he should be in the rankings. However, having only beaten Dean Harrison in 2009, I think a top 15 place would be too high at the moment.

Looking forward to next months list my friend.
What's the highest number places you've moved a fighter up in one move ?
29th for Mr Rhodes looks a little sick.
Surely he must hit 28th.

Gavin Rees entered the list at position No.9, after his win against M'baye. Which is like moving a fighter up 22 places.

As for ranked fighters: Jonathan Thaxton moved up 15 places after his win over Melero.

Matt Skelton, Colin Lynes, Ian Napa and Nicky Cook all moved up 10 places after their wins over Williams, Mutley, Moffett and Arthur.

He will be a lot higher in the list than that.
