I have a day-after newspaper account, reporting they D-12 @ London Dec. 4, 1930. BoxRec has a D-12 between them @ London Oct. 28, 1930. Two separate bouts? Or the same one with different dates?

A difficult call. The Oct 28 1930 comes from his record in the 1971 Ring Record Book. It is the last entry for him that year. The bout before this one is another London bout on Sept 29 against Len Harvey. It would seem strange for him to stay in London until Dec with no intervening bout so although the Dec bout is obviously correct I am inclined to accept the October bout also. I will check the New York Times on Thursday.
