Well, cleverley should have too much for Fry on Friday anyway. I wonder what would happen if Bomber nailed him on the chin though?

cleverly is not suspect around the chin area..what would happen if clev landed on bomber's chin? ..all this talk of who would win out of clev and bellew is stupid..in 2 or 3 years maybe it would be a close fight but now clev would win comfortably for my money..he is proven at domestic level..bellew hasn't been past 4 and his best win is matthew ellis who is a bum..if clev beats fry then clev will vacate commonwealth and british..i have a feeling fw could get bellew a commonwealth shot..i think he's ready..either way i think they are both going onto the world stage

I boxed the same night Clev boxed Joey Vegas, I thought it could have gone either way, I was actually sparring Vegas for the fight, Well once anyway. Joey is a good fighter and quite skilfull when he wants to be.. Just a shame he ain't fit.

Clev was hurt and Im sur he was down?? Don't know if the ref counted it as a knockdown though

If the fight goes past 3 rounds on Friday then he's gonna have problems with Courtney Fry.. I just hope Courtney starts faster than usual cos he could have a ref jumping in if he starts slow

Im itching for the step up guys BUT I ain't just saying it a few have knocked it back and it's pathetic it really is.. Gutted really cos the names knocking it back would make for some good/exciting fights..

yeh yer fkin damn right we would, bloke seems a genuine and respectful sportsman and to me is a really good ambassador for boxing, is polite and contributes quite a lot of interesting stuff to this forum. so why the eff wouldn't he be popular? same as Larry O, he lost, took it on the chin, seemed like his normal self, 'we' still liked him just as much afterwards. no problems with that surely?

The thing about Larry is that he is very humble. I think he made a mistake by not going for prizefighter though. his style was perfect for it.

Boxers lose and no doubt in my mind Bomber and Cleverly will lose at some point, its how they rebound that matters.
