Just back from a marathon show at Hillsborough which lasted five hours and ended at 12.20.

No shocks - Greenberg boxed his way to a decision over Francis, Haye broke his Estonian opponent in half with a body shot in the first, Haymer retained his English light-heavy title in dramatic fashion stopping Mark Brookes in the final round (it's probable that Brookes was ahead).

More over at BBN tomorrow when I've had some kip.

Lol Haye looks bloody stupid with that afro.

I understand opponents pulled out but that estonian was terrible. Haye needs a journeyman with a solid chin so he can practice setting a more realistic pace.

The Haye match was very poor and the result very predictable. Lets hope that Hayes next fight is with an opponent who will take him 6-8 rounds.

Haye has plenty of talent but he need to gain experience in the ring to develop as a world class fighter.

I think the haye fight was a step back but I assume he was looking for an opponent who he could knock over so he remembered he could. However taking on tomato cans counted against him when he was against Thompson. I hope he takes a more pollished fighter next time, he has been talking about Hobson and I think that would be a good and durable fighter. for him.
