Froch & Dirrell will be at Bunce Show in Nottingham
Apparently they are appearing live on stage with Buncey and doing some sort of mini press conference prior to their fight. Not sure about the other guests yet. You can get tickets on the door at the Crowne Plaza, Wollaton Street.

I heard this too, and it sounds believable, the Buncelive is in Nottingham only a few days before the Froch-Dirrel fight, so it sounds like a win-win. So far the guests on the Buncelive shows have been top notch, wish I could make the Nottingham show myself.

I just have to say that this is not a done deal. I can't guarantee a single fighter - the first show Macklin came, but a dozen failed to show; the next show Haye came, but a dozen failed to show; in Belfast Rogan came for the whole night, but a dozen failed to show. A request is in for everybody involved with the show, but I can't make any personal guarantees.
However, the guy who has just put together the brilliant Kirkland Laing book will be there and the book will be on sale for the first time ever.
Also, Nottingham rap legend Scor-Zay-Zee has promised to be there - take a look at the film: Le Donk and Scor-Zay-Zee.
Adios and thanks.

Big up Scorz, Big Trev and all the Stanz mans, had the pleasure of being in Big Trev's studio watching Scorz live in the flesh a few years back...good new Shane Meadows is shedding some light on the Notts hip hop scene in some ways with this film coming out.Buncey wrote:I just have to say that this is not a done deal. Yep. It received a sterling 1 out of 5 stars in todays Independent. No idea how accurate that is though, I like Shane Meadows films.BIGMARK wrote:isnt that the new brit flick that was shot in five days by Shane Meadows (the man behind this is England). I saw a piece about it on Jonathan Ross' film show this week and it stars Paddy Considine.Buncey wrote: Also, Nottingham rap legend Scor-Zay-Zee has promised to be there - take a look at the film: Le Donk and Scor-Zay-Zee.

It is a tenner for anyone that belongs to an amateur club.

The film is quite brilliant. Forget reviews. It's class.
I will do my best to get people from the film at the event - again, there is no promise of a single fighter from the main event turing up for my show. The press conference was due to take place on Tuesday, but that has now been moved to Wednesday.
Somebody asked about Wales - well, I'm at the Oceana in Swansea on Nov 3rd.
Adios.

Can you personally guarantee that Steve?Buncey wrote:I can't make any personal guarantees.

The Belfast show was good craic despite the fighters who never bothered their arses turning up and the dwindling numbers. Harry McGavock is worth the ticket fee alone...well, if I'd paid for one he would have been. Keep up the good work
