Will Danny Beat Vitali? Yes or No (Again!)

Post by neil r »

right since the last poll has vanished I'll try again. So its a simple vote. A Yes or a No. The fights been analysed enough on other posts so a nice simple Yes or No will do here. No thinking, no reasoning, just pure simplicity.

If I remember rightly before the last poll disappeared it was a bout a fifty fifty split as to Dannys chances tonight.

So will Danny win? I'll go for a yes.

Oh and stujones... you've seen the weights, youve had an extra few days to mull things over and weigh the chances up so cast your vote this time!! get off the fence, bit the bullet and cast your vote like a man ...

I'm becoming more hopeful the nearer the fight gets. But the answer is still no.

Danny weighing in a stunning 270 lbs...for 6'1 guy its A LOT !!
i heard that Williams's quality is his workrate...im not sure he can throw a lot of punches for more than 3 rounds with 270 lbs...Vitali will do absolutely what he wants with Danny

No. Williams wont win, Vitali was favourite for me before the weigh-in now I'm more certain he will win 270lbs is a ridiculous weight for a guy of his height. 5lbs more than he weighed for the Tyson fight supposedly he's in better shape?? Really dont see how he can be in better shape and 5lbs heavier, and his middle looks soft.

I hope he wins but see Vitali taking him apart by the middle rounds. His best chance was getting his weight down to 260 or so and using speed and quick attacks to back Vitali up.

Possibly if he's added muscle but not really what he needs. He admitted he wasnt in the best shape for Tyson with only 5 weeks to prepare and was 265 so in theory his best shape is prob below 260. All that extra muscle will not help him in my opinion.

We'll see tonight.

To me it looks like he's just not bothered with his weight, but I think he'd be better lighter as the extra bulk/weight will give him less stamina which was considered to be one of his main advantages in the fight.

No dream, got to go with my head - Klitschko KO 3, but I see this as a real 50:50 fight.

10 lbs of muscle isnt very good either : look at Bruno vs Tyson 2, Bruno had gained almost 20 lbs of pure muscle...well he was simply slower than in their 1st fight...look at Wlad, moving all that muscle is tiring !

Some of you really belive that Williams can win, so please don't forget to give props to Vitali - in case he'll stop Williams.

Seems we were here before the Tyson V Williams fight with people giving another Brit fighter not a chance in hell!

Williams to win by KO, could be a cut stoppage as williams throws good combos for a heavy, cant say which round though!

Klitschko KO1 dosen't show Williams any respect, he did take good shots from tyson. Klitschko is a good boxer but not that good!

Yes Tyson is a shadow of his early years, but is still better than the most of the world heavyweights.

Nice to see the belt coming over the pond again! Make you US fans come and beg the Brits for a shot at the title!!
