ITV 4 Boxing Review last night.

Post by My Name Is Earl »

Anyone see it. Just watched a recording and it was pretty good.

Thaxton getting his accolades form The Count and the team. Tyson Fury giving a honest no-hype interview. Some straight views on the Haye/Valuev bout.

If Fury was being honest then he needs a brain check.

He came across with his usual bullshit saying it was the worst he's ever fought against JMc be it as a pro or an amatuer, and that JMc was at his best. Blamed too much sparring in the gym. Made me laugh this excuse bearing in mind his lack of sparring has previously been a problem, not to mention the fact his fat he's carrying around had increased.

Also claimed he's the man to beat on the british scene given his "knockout" record. Be interesting to see his next excuse and bullshit when he doesn't knock JM out.

It's only a matter of time before he is exposed....... again, then i can't wait to hear his excuses again.

Yeah not a shred of honesty, and he sounds a bit backward to me.

It maybe a long time before he is proved to be s**te because of the lack of top heavies in the country,he reminds me of gerry cooney to look at although he fights nothing like him and cooney was a big puncher but fury is only a kid in boxing terms and he's not the first one to think he's much better than he actually is.

The thing is Fury's still really young for a pro boxer let alone a heavyweight. I think that he may be exposed for this part in his career but think he will learn and get stronger and more skilled as a boxer.

I don't think he has got enough credit for his heart and will that he showed against McDermott. No matter how much he believes he can beat McDermott easily most big boxing fans would of known that it was going to be more of a struggle than what Fury thought and McDermott probably did box to his best and Fury didn't fight at his best level in my opinion.

What other 20 year old heavyweight who has only been in the pro game for a year would take a fight with a good seasoned British title level fighter? No one would be the answer, so I give him credit where credit's dew.

Had'nt heard Dukes, McGuigans and that commentator who has to speak for every second during his commentary, views on Haye/Valuev before. 2 for the giant, 1 for haye.

By the sounds of Jono, he'll be snowed under with work. Motivational seminars and company teambuilding courses just a few of the arrows to his bow. Good to hear.
