Pro debuts - former Welsh amateurs

Post by Captain Hook »

Just wanted you boys to keep an eye out for a couple of talented North Wales amateurs who are making their pro debuts this weekend.

Steffan Hughes, from Llanrwst, fights this Friday at the Guild Hall, Southampton.

Paul Davies, from Prestatyn, will fight on the same night as Tom Doran at Deeside this Saturday. Like Doran he is being trained by Oliver Harrison.

Cheers lads, I'll post some interviews tomorrow.

I heard that the show at Southampton had been postponed because of an injury to Ede's foot, is this right? I've got tickets for it as well so disapointed :(

Are you interviewing Davies Mart? Wondering if he's the lad that trained in llandudno with us for a while. Looked around lightweight - welterweight. Very very fit, about 24 now, loads of schoolboy titles, very talented lad although didnt sig that hard to be honest (might have been going very easy).

Also, is steffs brother going pro too?

Hello guys. This is Rhydian here, Steffan`s twin brother. I just wanted to let you all know that I dont take any part in MMA anymore it was just a "Crazy Moment" in my life and I didnt enjoy it. MMA has been out of my life 2 years. It was just a way of making money because boxing politics made me lose interest.

I`ve been training hard for the last 6 months and my weight is coming down nicely. I am looking to be making my pro debut in early 2010.
