So what nxt for DANNY BOY !!!
So what nxt for DANNY BOY !!!
How do you think the Americans viewed his performance?
What do you think is nxt for danny here are fights i think he could have and what would happen.
TYSON remtach : Dont think he should take it can he be motivated again as much. this is just a payday and he would get knocked out in my opinion.
Audley : if audley would fight him it would be a big money spinner in the uk and i feel danny would beat him.
Skelton: British/commonwealth showdown, again money spinner in uk, feel danny can win this aswell but is it worth going to this level.
Then we have the american fights? does allegedly want to make these? or should he sign with don king and try and get a shot at a ruiz/brewster/.
what use all think??

Danny showed amazing bravery in there to keep getting back up, but unfortunately any game plan he had in the gym seemed to go out of the window after he took a few digs off of vitali.
He started out very aggressively, but when he got hit a few times, he reverted to the cautious gameplan which has lost him fights before.
The tacticts he used or was forced to use were suicidal, he stood right in Vitali's punching range.
The problem was, there was a point where Danny was actually winnning a round, he was coming forward and pressing Vitali, and then a left hook dropped him again.
I think the knockdown in the 1st took away Danny's power, his balance never really looked right again.

Re: So what nxt for DANNY BOY !!!
Williams landed where he came from: domestic level. He got 300,000 $ for a WBC-title-fight. i think that he is only a british hero he can make most money in a fight vs. Skelton or Harrison in London. As I´ve alyways said he never earned this title shot. why should he then earn another title shot? only if he signs with King to make a Mickey Mouse fight vs. Ruiz or Byrd where he is damned to lose?bigped wrote:How do you think the Americans viewed his performance?

Williams should concentrate on domestic/European level fights as its where he belongs, He was completely outclassed in every area and at no point did it look like he could get into the fight.
His corner was terrible and he should take a good hard look at there advice/shambles during that fight!!
I am just amazed anyone really thought the result could be any different but then blind patriotism is a funny thing!

i got that the coloured guy in the corner hadnt got a friggin clue what he was on about. I know he was cheerleading a biut but you do need some calm advice at some point.
i still give him a shot agianst brewster i mean meehen nearly beat brewster and danny massacred him.
vitali looks a class apart from all of em to be honest thought he was very impressive on Sat..

Danny was battered theres no doubt about that. However, funnily enough this fight could stand him in better stead than a dull fight where he got stopped on one knockdown. I think basically the americans will applaud the fact that he kept ploughing forward and he kept getting up and even at the end with his brain scrambled, his legs gone, his face a mess and all sense dictating he should stay down (like Tyson did against him and Lewis) he hauled himself up and tried to continue. Obviously Nady did the right thing.
But Danny showed head-on guts and in the HW division at the moment that already makes him a rare commodity. Theres definitely a couple of biggish fights out there for him to earn a bit more and roll the dice again - if he wants them and maybe he will have to deal with Don King to get them.
I'd rather see him do this than come back to Europe where it could all end in some small hall somewhere.
Having said that FW will probably bring him back to the UK and put him with Mark Krence on a Sky PPV.

What do you think about allegedly saying Danny should retire?
Fair enough, no one wants to see him or anyone take a beating like that, but the point is, not everyone is a Kiltchko, are they? People like Sprott or Skelton arn't going to turn Danny's brain into mashed potatoes are they?
Providing Danny is ok health wise, I think the Tyson/Klitchko experience has opened up a lot of avenues. Provided he takes the positives out of it, he can easily give a good go at Skelton/Audrey.
And couldn't he still get a (as much as I hate to say it) WBU title bout lined up. He was due to take on someone for that b4 Tyson and Klit got in the way, wan't he?
Provided he's ok brain-wise, and he's not going to become a psyvhological rhubarb crumble again, Danny can keep on going and start going places.
For me, he needs a wee rest, a warm up or two against a couple of bums, then, provided no Hide-esque feck-ups there, another good pay day for the Brit/Comm vs Skelton or a nice easy life as the WBU holder - he would deserve that more than Hatton or Calzaghe.

i couldnt give a fornicate he was shit on saturday shouting over mcdonnell when a cool head was needed. experienced or not "your wife and kids are watching this" comment was downright disgraceful to a man who was taking a systematic beating, bloke should be ashamed.knockout artist wrote:Sterling McPherson is one of the most experienced cornermen in the business.J wrote:i got that the coloured guy in the corner hadnt got a friggin clue what he was on about. Colin hart is one of the most experience writers in the business and jim neilly one the most experience commentators doesnt automatically make them the best in the business does it, far from it?
bloke needed a calm head in there, not 3 people screaming at the top of their voices especially Sterling who in my opinion was a shambles, I even screamed at the tV who is this geezer get him out shut him up for god sake he is doing more damage than good? Im sure he good intentions but it was amatuer at the side of someone like Roach / Mcgirt. Im not saying it would have made any difference but one voice is more than enough.

i heard a lot of bullshit coming out of Dannys corner. this was no profesional coaching on such a fight. it´s another point that this whole "mission" was two classes too high for them all and of course for Williams who was and is a 2nd level european boxer.J wrote:i coudlont give a fornicate he was shit on saturday shouting over mcdonnell when a cool head was needed. experienced or not "your wife and kids are watching this" comment was downright disgraceful to a man who was taking a systematic beating, bloke should be ashamed.knockout artist wrote:Sterling McPherson is one of the most experienced cornermen in the business.J wrote:i got that the coloured guy in the corner hadnt got a friggin clue what he was on about.
