Chavez JR vs Moore

Post by alexpaterson »

I seen this on the Sky Sports News website I think it would be a good fight for him if he beats Rhodes and then the winner fights Martinez :TU:

I would fancy Moore to KO Chavez late on

Moore by sickening KO - round 1!

Duddy should get his ass back down to LM and fight JCCJ. Thats more Chavez level.

Well since some on the forum think Moore can beat Paul Williams, Chavez jr should be a walk in the park. Rhodes will be an easy fight for Moore according to them too, since Moore is on Paul Williams level.

lirva, you're at it again.

i'm sure moore can get by rhodes and if the martinez fight happens, then i'm picking mooresy.

from there, who knows what he can do. IMO he and john murray are the best infighters britain has produced in ages and i know both are capable of big things.

if chavez jr is going to get a shot at martinez, a fight chavez jr will lose easily, no way would anyone put him in with jamie moore. i mean, they want chavez jr to make it to that world title fight, no? "they" being a lot of ppl, from the WBC through to arum to chavez jr himself.

Moore would smash Chavez to bits its utterly pointless, he should be fighting Cintron for a shot at Martinez. Yet again some amazing nonsense by the WBC :o

he probably wont.

Arum wants a showdown between Duddy and JCCJ. If Duddy beats this guy on the next JCCJ card in Mexico then the two will probably fight in the MSG for St. Patricks Day.

Anyone can beat anyone, no? I doubt many would pick moore if they were betting their mortgage, but are you missing the point between CAN and WILL?

Ah, autobarn, the man who likes every pressure fighter in boxing is backing Moore. Big surprise there.

I haven't seen much of Chavez Jr but from reports in america, he is pretty poor so Moore should be able to do him. As for the likes of Paul Williams, Moore would not know what planet he was on after the fight. Jennings vs Cotto part 2.

I wouldn` t write Chavez Junior off so easily.

He is a tough nut and likes a tear up. Okay, the level of opposition has not been of the highest calibre, but he would be a hard hard fight for Moorsey.

Anthony Small and Moorsey is the fight I would like to see.

Well popularity, the fact thats he's mexican and his powerful and influential promoter all play a part in his lofty ranking. I agree that although he's not exactly a Paul Williams, he's no pushover either. Moore would beat him, but it wouldn't be as easy as people make out. He had a good result last time out, blowing out the usually durable LaHoullier in one.

Lets see if Moore can get past Rhodes first. I think Chavez is being written off a little too easily here - he aint great, but he aint bad. Moore's looked sensational recently, but Piccirillo is pretty ancient. I would say Chavez is a step up from Piccirillo.

If somehow Chavez gets the WBC title, I except to see Oscar make a comeback.
