Toney is a trashtalking motherfucker and hasn´t proven anything in this division. maybe he was a good middleweight in former times.......wouter wrote:Toney has three times as much ability as Vitali and Wladimir combined, whether he's big enough remains to be seen.

Toney really is a site to see when he gets going with the lateral movement and counter-combos. His chin has been solid all through the weight divisions, but he does take the odd shot flush and has been rocked by guys much smaller than Vitali. I think if Toney could produce his best for 36 minutes straight he would school, really school, Vitali. I don't see that happening though, I think Klitschko would connect at some point within the first 3 rounds and it would be downhill from there. I don't think Toney would absorb as much as Danny Williams.

you´re completely wrong, cheesehead. but i´m not interested in old middleweight fights of Toney.wouter wrote:I don't think you've ever seen a fight outside of what's offered on german TV and Eurosport.BubiScholz wrote:Toney is a trashtalking motherfucker and hasn´t proven anything in this division. maybe he was a good middleweight in former times.......

Maybe you missed Toney beating the poo out of Jirov at CRUISERWEIGHT? Toney took him to school and blocked almost everything that Jirov threw at him.BubiScholz wrote:you´re completely wrong, cheesehead. but i´m not interested in old middleweight fights of Toney.wouter wrote:I don't think you've ever seen a fight outside of what's offered on german TV and Eurosport.BubiScholz wrote:Toney is a trashtalking motherfucker and hasn´t proven anything in this division. maybe he was a good middleweight in former times.......
I don't think Toney is big enough to beat Klitschko though, he just won't be able to get near him, and his lack of movement around the ring will make it too easy for Vitali.

Jirov and Toney are no serious opponents in heavy especialy for Vitali.jamesmcdonnell wrote:Maybe you missed Toney beating the poo out of Jirov at CRUISERWEIGHT? If Corrie Sanders would take this sport serious he would be one of the best. but anyway he is a top twenty guy and has won the WBO-title. he would be able to win it back vs Brewster.wouter wrote:....and Danny Williams and Corrie Sanders were?
Williams is as i always said a domestic fighter with no chance even for the EBU-belt.

Don't be so bloody stupid.
Riddick Bowe was shot to shit 8 YEAR AGO! He looked like shit in both fights with Golota, in fact, he looked like shit against Holyfield in their third fight, his punch resistance was completely gone after years of dehydrting himself to get his weight down and treating his body like a donut graveyard. Riddick Bowe is probably 10 years past his best now, and after 8 years of inactivity he's hardly going to come back on best form.
Williams was 31, fit, and wanted to win. Sanders was past it, but not shot by any stretch.

Who cares if they're shot, Williams and Sanders were just not good enough to begin with. They didn't enter the Tyson and Wlad. Klitschko fights as huge underdogs for nothing.
Toney is in a different class, ability-wise, than both of these guys even though he's not a 'big punching natural heavyweight.'
If that's your only criterium then Vitali might as well fight Bowe. He's still big punching (I presume) and very, very much a natural heavyweight. He probably just can't fight anymore.

Cobblers. Bowe is shot, his punch resistance is gone, Toney is at least active and not some buggered guy looking for some paydays.
I would give Toney a very very slim chance, due to his technical ability, but the size discrepancy is too much for every Toney to overcome. Toney should be fighting at cruiserweight really, he'd kick ass there.

Toney is a very good cruiserweight...CRUISERWEIGHT ! just like Oscar DLH is an outstanding welter, he gets his arse kicked at middleweight...Toney is 5'11...even with his skills, he can never match the power of guys like Vitali he cannot compensate for the fact he is the much smaller man...also he is much too cocky and has only fought a 40y old Holyfield and bumkiller fat Rydel Booker...so the facts are Toney is a small cruiserweight who has proven nothing at HW and who acts as if he was the real deal !
