Should be a good matchup Burns is a good boxer if given time which Mitchell wont give him I see Burns unable to keep Mitchell off before being stopped around the 7th

Burns is overrated and O' Hara gave him a really hard night's work in june, Mitchell is on a completely different level fighter than O' Hara and will stop Burns

yeh mitchell is known for being a bit of a slow starter..but once he is a couple of round's into the fight he turn's it on..burn's isn't a big enough puncher to stop kev..mitchell is relentless..kev is ranked 1 by the wbo and burn's is ranked 2 so the winner fight's martinez basicly..apparently martinez isn't keen on fighting mitchell unless he has to as his mandatory

i agree o'hara deserved a draw i think. maybe burns just nicked it but not by like 7 round's which the judges gave it  burns was exposed..he has alway's said mitchell has ducked him.that is complete rubbish.the reason mitchell hasn't fought burn's already is because of the year long injury and he was trying to get martinez

I think Mitchell wins easily but I would be very impressed if he can stop Burns. That guy has a granite chin, he soaked up everything Alex Arthur and Carl Johanneson could throw and stayed upright.

This is a great fight. And with it being a final eliminator for Martinez, it's the biggest night of both guys careers so far. Can't wait for this one !

in all fairness tho mitchell is a bigger puncher then johanneson and arthur.burn's showed how easy he was to hit against o'hara..but then again kev mitchell is quite easy to hit.but i see mitchell by ko in the middle round's in a fast paced all action fight.cant wait!!

I'm not so sure you could make a case for that. Arthur, Johannesson and Mitchell all have about the same ratio of KO's to overall fights and Johannesson's were mainly in the States and not just a bunch of Worren patsies. Burns also survived whatever Gomez threw and while I know he was well past it, he could still bang enough to put most down.

Mitchell throws loads of shots to put you over rather than big one punch power and I would just be surprised if he can stop Burns, especially in the early to middle rounds.

dont think its fair to judge burns of the o'hara fight think he was looking past him so didnt put the same effort in training having said that i still think mitchell will force stoppage in 8 or 9 rounds
