December 1st Samoan Prospects Warren Fuiava and Vaitele Soi fight the dangerous TBA's! There last performances in New Zealand were short in sweet. Soi brutally KO'd former 40 fight Amatuer and 2-3-0 pro Wayne Orbell in the first round..............Warren Fuiava took on pro debut opponent Matt O'Conner stopping him in 23seconds.
Both are looking at facing sterner challenges in Samoa before years end. Soi is a strong punching aggressive Cruisereight now 8-0-0 (6KO's) hes learning as he goes, but ill be pushed as well hes young so has time on his side, but expect to see big things from Soi by 2010. Likewise with Fuiava a Samoan Commonwealth Games Rep he has a solid Amatuer background to call upon. Fuiava will also make big strides in 2010 and it starts with fights December 1st in Samoa!
James Chan was supposed to be Sois opponent but cannot fight due to family committments.....................opponents will be announced shortly.

Yep they definately deserve a mention. However Ive only seen Fuiava and I think hes going places.
Re: Future Samoan Prospects
Thanks foxdog, both are quality young prospects. Soi is a very exciting fighter, comes out hard in fast looking to take you out ASAP. The way in which he dominated Orbell was impressive. Fuiava comes in with strong amateur credentials, his opponent was admittingly less than idealin NZ but like all good fighters should he dispatched him quickly.
Jeff Stutt is a possible Fuiava opponent for Samoa, Stutt is a experienced journeyman and will provide Fuiava with a decent scrap, looking at Australian opponents for Soi.

Vea is an opponent, don't know if he would travel to Somoa though....Soi demolished Danny price in 1 and ever since I've had a slight interest.
The other guy hasn't even beaten a guy with a win yet????

Re: Future Samoan Prospects
Soi's stoppage win over Price is probably his best win to date. HIs KO of Orbell was very impressive also. We are looking at stepping Soi up as of December 1st.
Fuiava is in need of a test, and he should also get one December 1st.

I think Soi had better win a couple of hard fights before challenging Vea.Hounddawg wrote:Vea is an opponent, don't know if he would travel to Somoa though....Soi demolished Danny price in 1 and ever since I've had a slight interest.

I watched Soi and Obell. Soi can fight. I think a fight with him and Moyoyo Mensah would be a classic. Both freeswinging. Soi tightier, but Moyoyo is more experienced. Great fight in my eyes.
Another good one for this part of the world would be Soi vs. Mohamed Azzaoui. Azzaoui is a little on the decline, but Soi is only 8-0 and this would also be a great step.
I was very impressed with Soi, and I feel he can go a long way.
