non-sky satellite dishes

i bought one of those 65 quid ones (for caravans etc i think) from lidls about a year ago, its not been out of the box yet but im thinking of setting it up for tomorrow nights fight.

anyone know what channel its likely to be on live?

or highlights?

and which satellite do i point it towards?

there must be some boffins on here. .... :bow:

I`m no boffin but I know the following.

The Abraham fight is live on ARD (German channel). Highlights of the Froch fight and Abraham fight is on at 9am (8am inthe UK) on Sunday morning on WRD (German channel)

You point the dish at Astra 1 (19.8 degrees east) Plug in the free to air decoder and away you go.

well, ill give it a go, and if this thing works then it looks like its been a decent 60 odd quid spent, im assuming i can also get the klitschko fights live on it too.

froch-dirrell and abraham-taylor are on primetime and are PPV in the UK

as for where to point i avent a clue

Yeah, you get the Klitschko fights on RTL (German)

Looks like it reaches most of the UK no problem.

Is the Froch fight only shown the following morning on the German channels?

You'll need a spectrum analyser to set it up mate i think properly.

Otherwise, point it in the same direction as all your neighbour's dishes !

there is some sort of satellite locator device in the box with it..but thanks anyway mate... :TU:
