Forch says it's a good sign Dirrell being over, just a little boost to him, but not placing too much emphasis on it.

Advantage Froch. Froch says he has a good breakfast and eaten well today and is a consumate pro, which is why he will still be strong in rounds 10,11,12.

Froch says it was his best weigh in of his career, really enjoyed the occasion at Market Square, Nottingham. Sounds relaxed and confident

I know it's not a lot but didnt John Murray lose his belt for less? wasnt he 2lb over?

Ok it's nothing but so unproffesional and at the end of the day he weighed in overweight.

He'll lose that easily but not good from Dirrell.

GET ON FROCH now at the bookies :TU:

If he weighed in 168.4lbs then that isnt 0.4 of an ounce over is it. Thats 0.4 of a pound over.

If he weighed in 0.4 of an ounce over surely he would just take his kegs off.

2 am start.

primetime show starts at 9.

so you'd think half 9 start time for the undercard.

Froch was 9/4 to win by KO yesterday, best you can get now is 15/8 (SkyBet and PaddyPower)

When a fighter is over the weight like that, it means, in the majority of cases, they actually had no problems with the weight.

Where yo been dickwad?

Dirrells still full of misplaced bravado, but he ain't gonna be so cocky after 5 rounds tomorrow. It was gonna be difficult for Andre to go the full 12 rounds with Froch anyway, but IF he's been struggling to make weight it's gonna be even harder and considering Froch has got a jaw like Desperate Dan there's only going to be one outcome tomorrow :KO:

Your boy's in a whole world of sh!t now Hitman! Froch by KO :OhYes: :OhYes: :OhYes: :OhYes: :OhYes: :OhYes:

Nice one Chambers :TU:

Watching Dirrell against Hanshaw, as good as he looks, I can see Frochy's right hand over Dirrell's jab proving too much for Andre. I'm hoping Froch is going to apply clever presure, because Dirrell clearly likes boxers coming on to him.

I was frightened by some of Dirrells fights. He looks awesome in most of them. He looks great in the hanshaw fight imo. Those straight left hands are blindingly fast and look to carry some clout indeed. Dirrell is faster than pascal or taylor. He also is VERY active and throws way more than froch. lovely snappy jabs too. He is very good at hooking as somebody comes in and turning his body so that the hook leaves him in the centre of the ring, where he will have advantages over Froch.

Dirrell looks very good to me and I won't be betting on the fight at all after studying him a bit more closely. I can see him doing damage with fast shots. He swtiches too which is going to be very awkward for Carl.

Who? How many decent super-middleweight switch-hitting sparring partners are there? Or are we just talking about a bunch of Ingle fighters?

Yeah he looks great so far, but I wonder when Froch lands the damaging punches, will Dirrell's body and mind still respond the same way....the recovery, the appetite for battle?

The skill & speed has to be the biggest factor againt Carl, but this is when champions like Froch show their true worth and find something special (e.g. against Jermain Taylor)
