Flyweight Debutant Ready To Rumble

Post by steve689 »

The lighter weights are not the strongest for our domestic scene, but this wee fella could plug a gap:

Pro debut on the Odyssey card, November 6th. Looking forward to seeing how Jamie progresses.

Talking of debuts, in the Brian Peters release for the McCloskey fight, they say a big hitting Belfast heavyweight is making his debut. The name is David Hannah - any ideas who he is? I've never heard of him.

No idea, if I knew even as little as that I could try and trace some more info. Might be a mis-print or something.

"Yea that’s him in the first link, it says he is Scottish in the 2nd one which isn't right. Apparently he was picked by the navy just so he could box in their championships, I think it back fired on him a bit when he had to go war lol.

He is a close friend of brian magee and is as equally a nice guy from the few times i have met him. He has been talking about going pro for a while and has now decided to commit himself to it. hope all goes well for him "
