I think this fight could be closer than most now will predict.

I have however gone for Kessler to stop Froch.

Froch ships big punches at this level. And Kessler will follow them up when he has Froch going. At carls age will he instinctively know how to react and survive? .. I think not.

Kessler wins easy. Froch's been lucky so far, but that luck is running out fast

Styles make fights, this will be a real ding dong affair. I think this one will be a close fight all depending on how both of them handle each others right hand.

Kessler will hit him with the right hand all night long and I think the shots Froch continues to take flush will catch up with him. Kessler by late stoppage for me.

Kessler will chin him and go on to win the whole thing.

After Calzaghe hung em up, Kessler is the best of the rest at that weight by far.

Its going to take a lot more than just standing there and scratching his nuts from Froch.

I think Kessler would beat Calzaghe in a rematch as well in truth.

Real winner = Joe Calzaghe's legacy.

Been engaging in a few debates about this super 6, and I've tipped Kessler.... and actually my friends have said it will be good for Joe's legacy as Kessler hasn't really proved himself. I think he is alot more proven than Lacy, but can see this arguement (he hasn't done much since Calzaghe).

Now, Kessler will add the WBC title to a big "rival" to Joe. The one who has said he would have whooped Joe for years... and is still undefeated. When really, he shouldn't be champion now and has been a little bit exposed, by an experienced fighter.

Kessler wide on points

Froch wont be able to get inside and get outboxed on the outside Kessler is well schooled and will catch Froch coming in. Kessler is a classy boxer who will outbox Froch

As far as the comments on Froch being overrated, the same applies to Kessler imo.
Kessler got hurt by Calzaghe with his glass hands and Carl does own very heavy hands. Kessler stands right in front of you and that will suit Froch. Carl's proved that he can't chase down a slick fighter but Kessler will stand right in front of him and that's the sort of fight Froch looks good in. I'm going for a Froch stoppage :TU:

Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Flop wins tbh. Certainly have an easier time at it then he did against Dirrell. Styles make fights. Stand in front of Carl and he gets a chance to land his 'hadokun' uppercut. I've only seen Kessler once and he wasnt exactly fred astaire int he movement stakes. However, he is a correct puncher and that could spell trouble for Carl

Someone will get stopped of that I'm certain. I'm going to hope that MH can at least find this on sky as it doesnt bear thinking how bad the prime time PPV numbers must have been for saturday. If it cleared more than 10000 PPV I'd be amazed

Close fight I think, both men are quite similar, but Kessler has a better defence, and I think an edge in power also.

I lean towards Kessler late KO or points.

I'd love Carl to prove me wrong but Kessler is deadly accurate. I see a Kessler stoppage in ten. He'll make Froch pay for that low left hand and he can match Froch for size and strength.

what like calzaghe was against b-hop? bernard won tht fight clearly. and robin ried beat calzaghe. no1 gives a shite about calzaghe's so called "legacy" apart from the welsh.he doesn't rank in the top 5 british fighters of all time .he spent 10 years fighting bum's he would have said no to this tournament if he was still around. the nature of the guy was very cautious.just my opinion. don't hate on froch's performance when he was facing road runner with quick hands!! calzaghe has had some dreadful performance's against very very average fighters
