What no coverage?

Post by tonyevs »

Enough of this Froch result bashing. I think its been covered quite enough now eh?

Sadly, today looking through The Sun newspaper - hangs head in shame  - there isn’t so much as a line in it mentioning Carl Froch fight. :(

Isn’t it bad enough that such a tournament as the Super6 wasn’t given mainstream viewing. And even those of us that did want to watch it had the trouble of subscribing to it - only to get let down by the channel. :(

Carl Froch is the guy most, if not all British boxing fans - begrudgingly or not - admire the most out of our current world champs. The guy should have got big write ups in the tabloids before and after this event.

I really feel for Carl. Such a warrior as he undoubtedly is, deserves so much more.

Where is his PR people? surely they should be making sure he gets a big mention today.

In the internet age, Monday morning is wayyyyyy after the event. As for Tuesday...

I mean, everyone knew about Jackos death- most of it within minites of it happening. However, it will still be "Headline" news in the next mornings papers.

Ooops .. seem to have lost a day :KO:

I guess thats what happens when you spend 11hrs on a monday down the hospital ..9hrs of that waiting to see a doctor :witzend:

Still though. You would expect his people to try and run the PR out a bit. Its the biggest thing to have happened in the sport for some time. When was the last time we had anything like this?

even in Mondays issue of The Mirror it had a little paragraph and it wa sjust mainly Calzaghe offering feint praise but ultimatekly saying that Kessler was the ebst in the tournament

No write up in sight

Jeff Powell had a decent write up in The Mail. Scored it a draw and seemed to have a few harsh words to say about MH
