i dont think he's quite ready yet,he's only young & needs to have some noted contest's for this recognition,he has the potential but im sure he'll want to & intends on earning it.

Robert Stieglitz is the weakest champion, but it was quite impressive how he broke down Balzsay. I do wonder if something was wrong with Balzsay, though. He looked weak. Smigga would have a chance to take the title away, but not if the fight takes place in Germany, imo.

Of course, it all hinges on how well Smigga does against Quigley.

No disrespect to him, but how has he ended up at No.4 in the world with WBO he's hardly fought at super middle, never mind again anyone decent at the weight.

Obviously I do know his promoter has had a hand in him getting to that slot, but it makes a mockery of the rankings system.

Again no disrespect to Smith but the ranking isn't merited on performance.

When I saw him fight against Cello Renda at MW he looked pretty fleshy, so I'd be interested to see how he looks at SMW.

C'mon seriously!!!!!!!

How is he ranked in the top 5 in the WORLD by the WBO at SM!!!

You would struggle to justify a case for him being in the top 5 in the UK at SM!!!

The ranking system stinks by some organisations!!

I'm surprised he's ranked higher than Jean Paul Mendy & Allan Green actually.

Im also surprised that the former champion, Balzsay has dropped to 8th whilst the man he took the title off, who aint fought since, Denis 'Chicken' Inkin remains at 5.

See the fight? It was a robbery.

Granted, the rankings are crazy.

Hopefully if he wins he fights Magee in the New Year and keep active! He could be fighting for WBO by next June.

He certainly wasn't outclassed by Bendall, that was a terrible decision by Mark Green, I thought he won that fight easily. Even did a blog on it.

Maybe he should replace Taylor in the super six... :o

Silly ranking, but something Smith himself can't help.
Hopefully it won't put too much pressure on him being rushed into a fight he has zero chance of winning.
