Re: british title lightweight eliminater
2 southpaws.
Holburn has no KO's but a useful win over Al Hamidi. Bullcroft has just a handful of KO's but plenty of experience.
Could be a decent domestic level chess match.

Yes, but eliminators mean fornicate all now.The quiet man 2004 wrote:Wasnt John Watson and Martin Gethin an eliminator for the same title earlier this year????dhb-raging bull wrote:a little bird as told me stefy bull vs paul holborn in a british title eliminater.
Re: british title lightweight eliminater
Is this really a British Lightweight eliminator??? No disrespect, but I can envisage an Alan Bosworth thing here...... the winner of this fight not being deemed good enough to challenge Murray.
Re: british title lightweight eliminater
Did Holbon not draw last week?
Re: british title lightweight eliminater
Sinse losing to Khan Bull has beaten three journeymen and lost a masters title challenge. I'm guessing that the suggesting that this is an "eliminator" is wrong.

Re: british title lightweight eliminater
should be a decent fight good match up holborn is a tidy boxer and like u say stefy as got the experiance been in with some good fighters. it was a bit soon to go straight into a ten round title fight after a year out in my opinion but he has looked good in his last few fights i live in the same area as him so i do follow stefy but like u say it may be abit soon for a british eliminater but its good news on there behalf we will have to wait and see what happens after this fight.
Re: british title lightweight eliminater
You sure its not an ENGLISH title eliminator. I would really find it hard to believe the BBBoC have nominated Steffy Bull for a British title eliminator.

In theory every fights a title eliminator. Final eliminator's are the one's that matter.

fight as changed now stefy is now fighting martin gethin dont know if its for anything yet though
Re: british title lightweight eliminater
The Stefy Bull vs Martin Gethin bout will be for either, the vacant English lightweight title, or it will be a British title eliminator.
Re: british title lightweight eliminater
You are right there ask Sam Webb win an elimnator and watch the bbbof c let the loses fight for the title next ??????????whicker wrote:Yes, but eliminators mean eff all now.The quiet man 2004 wrote:Wasnt John Watson and Martin Gethin an eliminator for the same title earlier this year????dhb-raging bull wrote:a little bird as told me stefy bull vs paul holborn in a british title eliminater.

Thomas McDonagh's shot is a voluntary defence of the title. Anthony Small is entitled to take this fight.
Re: british title lightweight eliminater
The McDonagh-Webb situation is not uncommon. Seems unfair, but voluntary challengers might not get as good a deal/terms than if they were in the mandatory spot.

Yes, but it makes a mockery of the concept of "ELIMINATORS".Wake up call wrote:Thomas McDonagh's shot is a voluntary defence of the title. Anthony Small is entitled to take this fight.
