he definitely beats Napastujones wrote:A real late developer is Booth. If only he would have boxed now as he was a youngster. He used to fight like a mini Ricky Hatton without the power in his youth. Now he is showing what a sweet boxer he is.
Got un finished business with Napa..... I like to see him have a good go at Super Bantam... and if unsucessful, drop back down. I think he has years left in him.

Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
yep i agree booth has been down once in his career and it was a flash knock down.he has an iron chin. he would take dunne to school and would have a very good chance of schooling cordoba.booth might just be world class he know's every trick in the bookopticald wrote:cordoba would get a hiding from Booth mate. Jason Booth has an iron chin???
Have a chat with yourself Gemmel. Exactly who has this iron chin been tested on? Micheal Hunter? Ian Napa? Damaen Kelly? Rocky Dean? Mark Moran? Sean Hughes? The who's who of feather fisted fighters! Let's look at form shall we, Booth took 10 rounds to stop Sean Hughes, Dunne stopped him in 2.
There's delusional and then there is plain stupidity.

Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
No, he wouldn't because he has no power at super bantam. Also Dunne is going to school Munroe because he is Munroe's manadatory after Maludrottuopticald wrote: Booth would easily beat Dunne.

And who's to say Degale wouldn't beat Moore? It's not beyond the realms of possibility.
Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
I just can't let this post go! Jason Booth would "school" the world class Panamanian who has a win over Caballero? What on Jason Booth's resume is there to validate that statement? What are you seeing in Cordoba that makes you think a domestic level guy like Booth would "school" him nevermind even beat him at all? I see an interesting trend developing here. Dunne is giving next to no chance to beat Cordoba by 90% of posters on this forum. Dunne proves all you suckers wrong by winning and now suddenly Cordoba "isn't the greatest boxer" and any decent level operator would beat him?! You're f*cking priceless palgemmell wrote:to be honest booth could school cordoba.cordoba isn't the greatest boxer.would be an interesting fightalexpaterson wrote:Great performance by him tonight I would like to see him fight Cordoba it's a fight he could win and would put his name onto the world scene imo
Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
This "world class Panamanian" did indeed beat Caballero but that was 5 years ago, do you think Cordoba would have a chance against Caballero now? Completely different fighters today mate.
Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
And no I don't think Jason Booth can beat any of the world class super Bantamweights.
Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
I would give Cordoba a good chance against Caballero now, yes. Cordoba is still a world class boxer. And who was Booth beating 5 years ago again? I think Booth is a good boxer who is showing good form of late but he is being hyped too much based on wins over average opposition. If I had made the same claims about Dunne if he had just beaten guys like Dean and a shot Hunter I would be laughed out of the forum.banjo wrote:This "world class Panamanian" did indeed beat Caballero but that was 5 years ago, do you think Cordoba would have a chance against Caballero now? Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
cordoba looked SHOCKING aginst dunne!! juanma lopez was exposed for what he really is against mtagwa.how juanma didn't get ko'd is unbelievable. i cant remember anybody saying cordoba would win and i certainly didn't. cordoba showed he isn't a great boxer.go back to your caravan mateBadass wrote:I just can't let this post go! Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
"Go back to my caravan?", I see you have to resort to immature insults as you cannot back up your claims
You are the first and only person I have ever heard to call Cordoba's performance against Dunne "SHOCKING", you are making yourself look like a tool coming out with comments like that. So let's see if I have this straight, Cordoba is not a great boxer, Lopez was exposed, Dunne and Cordoba would be "schooled" by the mighty Jason Booth and beating a washed up, shot to absolute bits, weight drained Michael Hunter is the achievement of the century? Have I got that right Gemmel?
Cordoba has proved time and time again how good a boxer he is against very good opposition, Dunne proved that he can more than match a world class operator such as Cordoba, but instead of admitting this you would rather believe that "Cordoba showed he isn't a great boxer" because Dunne beat him!

Lol, there is always a pro irish sentiment from badass, you have to love him. Dunne gets hammered around the ring by the likes of voronin and Booth would have no chance at hurting him.
Dunne vs Booth would be a very easy victory for Booth. In and out, boom boom boom and Dunne would be KO'd around teh same time Hunter was.

Now, since it is so obvious that you have zero idea of what you are talking about I will enlighten you on a few things.
Booth would not beat Dunne and your very analytical "In out Boom, Boom, Boom" theory is flawed for the following reasons :
Booth does not have half the power that Veronin, who is a natural featherweight and a very strong one at that, has.
Dunne is not shot to bits like Hunter.
Dunne has 10 times more skill than Hunter ever had, pre and post Molitor.
Dunne hits harder than Booth and Hunter.
Dunne more than matches Booth in the skills department.
Booth is HIGHLY overrated based on wins over domestic level opposition.
Now I know a moron such as yourself with an obvious agenda will come back with an equally intelligent reply as your last one, but you are obviously not a very rational person so I will discount anything you say as part of your creepy, obsessive, illiogical dislike for Irish boxers.
Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
Dunne doesn't hit harder than Hunter (when he was good). I was reliably informed by a few of his Irish fans at one of his recent fights that their man had: "nooooooo power".
I was going to say a prim Dunne vs. prime Hunter , Dunne would find a way to evade Hunter and nick it, but to be honest I don't think he would have been able to keep Hunter off for 12 rounds. And if it was the old 15 rounds, I'd be well on Hunter to stop him.

Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
Dunne does get terribly underestimated on here.I would gladly back him against Booth and Munroe. If you break down Booth's wins, they are against limited opposition(though he did look great in doing it),and i believe he(Dunne) would box Munroe's ears off.People forget how skillful Dunne is,great amateur pedigree, learnt his trade in the states, etc
Re: Whats next for 2 SMOOTH?
i think booth and munroe would both beat dunne.just my opinion. i struggle to see dunne boxing munroe's ears off. dunne's chin is very vunerable.cordoba only clipped him a few times and turned dunne's legs to jelly but dunne has a huge heart and good power. he is way too easy to hit tho i feel and jason booth is so so hard to hit and there would only be 1 winner saying that.dunne has good stamina and has mixed at good level but when he has he has been soundly beatenmickey1975 wrote:Dunne does get terribly underestimated on here.I would gladly back him against Booth and Munroe. If you break down Booth's wins, they are against limited opposition(though he did look great in doing it),and i believe he(Dunne) would box Munroe's ears off.People forget how skillful Dunne is,great amateur pedigree, learnt his trade in the states, etc
