OT: BNP
Re: OT: BNP
With regard to the Ku Klux thing, I believe what Griffin was actually saying is he once shared a stage with one of their leaders (david duke), who ended up despising Griffin for his views. The tail bit of his sentence was drowned out by the audience/panel, but he wasn't saying he was mates with the kkk, he was saying they don't like him for his politics, which is a different point, but less headline-grabbing.

I don't care what degree he has - he's an ignoramus with no sense of the reality of the world.skelp wrote:He's not an idiot, he has a degree in Law.banjo wrote:Griffin is an idiot, plain and simple, always backtracking and contradicting himself at every opportunity.
I agree with him on immigration, it has to be curbed. Britain is now a third world country, we've gone backwards.
It's not about skin colour, the number of eastern europeans flooding the country is out of control. In my town you have up to 6 migrants living in private accomodation, 2 bedroom homes. They produce 6 times as much refuge, and only pay one council tax; so the rest of us have to pay higher bills for the council services.
I was sickened to see a documentary a few months ago about a polish gang master who brings illegals over to britain. He gets them to claim child support as payment to him for bringing them in, the money was going into his bank account; this guy was raking in £12,000 a month in fraudulent claims.
No wonder this countrys on its arse, all the money is going to poland and the likes. :x
So you saw a documentary about one Polish guy who was a criminal, - what's your point. We've got thousands of criminals of our own, and guess what, there are British criminals living abroad, doing exactly the same thing.
I'll say this about Polish people, they are grafters - not like the lazy, feckless, pampered pricks we've produced in this country. People who think that work is a dirty word, and believe that the state should support them from cradle to grave with no contribution from them at all.
How do you know these polish people only pay council tax for one person - do you work for the council?
As said elsewhere, Poles are part of the EU - they can work anywhere in Europe, as can Brits, the Poles have the drive and ambition to better themselves, unfortunately, most of our hyperactive chav breeding machines don't have any ambition outside of enough money to buy cheap booze, scratchcards, and 100 quid trainers, and 20 mayfair lights.
The biggest problem in our country is the people born here, hordes of uneducated ne'er do wells who expect a cushy ride through life, and who want nice shiny things, without the means to pay for them.
This country sickens me sometimes, I have to deal with these chav scum on a daily basis where I live - and it's these self same people who blame everyone else but themselves.

Actually, there is a recording of Griffin telling David Duke that 'england isn't ready yet for racial purity.' Griffin was lying.Mensa07 wrote:With regard to the Ku Klux thing, I believe what Griffin was actually saying is he once shared a stage with one of their leaders (david duke), who ended up despising Griffin for his views. I was making the point that this guy was a polish gangmaster bringing illegal immigrants into the country. I was not saying all poles are illegal; I like the poles, they helped us win the war; they suffered more hardship than we did.stujones wrote:Can someone answer me.... Is Skelp right in calling Polish people illegals. From what I have read - they have as much right to work here as we do, as they are members of the EU. Well providing the get hold of a NI number
But, I have a problem with foreigners claiming benefits, (ie. Child Benefit or using the NHS) because as I understand it, foreign nationals don't pay NI or income tax; as they are domiciles. They should not be allowed to take money out of the pot if they are not putting some in.

Re: OT: BNP
I think most MP's look like idiots when they go on Question time.
I think the BBC was out of order for producing the show in such a way that meant all the questions centered around the BNP and not any real pollicies. Look at who most of the pre arranged questions come from, annoyed and angry people who are from the minority who Griffin and the BNP are supposed to dislike and hate of course by doing that for the entirty of the programme any human being is going to look stupid.
If any of us were put in a room to answer questions and all the questions came from our ex's and people who we've had fights and arguments in the past, we would be under pressure and look stupid. Of course it's not the same thing but you can see where I'm coming from.
I didn't quite hear one of the questions but I'm sure it was about Enoch Powell, the Tory back in the 70's and it was disregarded because it was years ago. Surely if some tory's comments from years ago can be disregarded and obviously not what he would think now, surely even people like Griffin can change their mind about their policies?
Question time wasn't as fair as it normally is, even if they were hammering down on a far right bigot.
I remember an episode of Question time where someone supported the Hooks hamza's opinions and yet he didn't get hammered or even questioned yet Griffin does, that to me is not fair even if everyone does hate the man and his party.
Last night probably proved to Griffin that everyone is a little bit predudice in their own way and not everyone is as open to all as they let on.
No I'm not a BNP voter or supporter i just believe in giving everyone a chance and a fair society.

Some foreingers maybe....although they get caught. My mrs couldn't register with a doctor untill she got a NI number. So as far as I am aware, all that use the NHS have at least gone through the process of going about it the right way.
Now she has, she pays her way like everyone else... I aint saying everyone is like her, but there is damn sight more like her than these type of documentaries potray. My mrs is now entitled to go to the GP and has a uk bank account - but she cannot claim dole for another 2 years I believe (if she loses her job). Thats 2 years of employment. I could have claimed dole at 16 if I wanted to.
The ones that don't are usually on so little money they wouldn't make a big contribution anyway.

I feel sorry for the occupants; this greedy capitalist scumbag is probably charging them all £50 a week, (6 occupants at £50 P/W = £1200 P/M). It's not uncommon to see "Property to Rent" adverts like this where I live.
As for the Chavs, I totally agree, these parasites should be put down. Where I live they run riot; bricking windows and tormenting the life out of people.

Re: OT: BNP
Most of the evidence provided by those who blame immigration is anecdotal the rest is pure myth.
Just as the media jump on the PC bandwagon, saying the government want you to be CB checked if you baby-sit for your neighbours.
No they dont and if the policy existed its unenforceable, unpoliceable.
The very people who claim to the only ones with any common sense and logic are the only ones who demonstrate a lack of it by bleeting like sheep this anecdotal review of new policy.
As has been pointed out, you dont get benefits straight away.
I dont want to live in an Ivory tower island with closed doors. As a wealthy country, if people come here to work and need the NHS, I want to open the doors to that service.
N.I. contributions are payment to make things like the NHS provide FREE healthcare at the point of care to EVERYONE. It is not a private health policy you can only use if you've paid in. The NHS is part of the definition of what it is to be British IMO. To policitise it, only serves to denegrate the very values people who do claim to defend. And of course, ask how long the waiting list for dental treatment would be without immigrant dentists......fkking long is the answer. Immigrants capitalise on gaps in the market we wont fill. If we did, they wouldn't be here. Part of the reason they're here is because of the minimum wage - another facet of British public life we should all be PROUD of. Of course, that system is violated in some instances, but thats criminal behaviour and there is more evidence of abuses of the system among the benefit ghettos described above than any created by immigrant "gangsters" Unless of course, I'm living a charmed existance in an overflow town in West Suffolk.

Why, in the sacred unknowable name of Dog, would you "want to hear" what a Holocaust-denying Nazi has to say? Are you completely unaware of the BNP & was this your first exposure to them? I'm in favour of having the pudendum out in the open, but if the evil bastard told me that the sky was blue, I'd probably go outside & check!
& I don't buy the "Oh yeah, I was a Nazi, got the 88 tattooed on my cock, fantasised about mass extinction of people for their colour/creed/religion/whatever, but then I woke up to see the light & now I like kittens, stamp-collecting, the Queen Mum & have married a nice Bangladeshi girl."
Also: you have obviously not watched much QT. When George Galloway was on (who is a pratt, btw), he could barely get a word in edgeways over the tumult of hecklers frothing at the mouth. QT is meant to be a populous bearpit, not a fnucking in-depth discussion programme. How are you going to have an in-depth discussion about anything in the time allotted, with the format the programme has? You're not.
Re: OT: BNP
It's nice to see so many racists on show -- although it's nicer to see one or two confirm my good impressions by standing up to the idiots.
First, Griffin had every right to be on Question Time, and I have no idea why people were getting hot under the collar and trying to stop him. We live in Britain. We believe in free speech. Free speech is not curtailed -- or at least shouldn't be -- for those we find distasteful.
Second, the BNP is an idiotic party. Moving away from their odious views on race and religion, one only need read their manifesto and see what they propose for the economy to realise that they literally do not have a clue. In fact, their racism does them a favour on this level, because it distracts from their actual policies, which would be laughed down by any reasonably informed person.
Third, immigrants on the whole come to hustle and work hard and make money either to support families back home or to build a better life in the UK. They don't come to lay around on benefits. Why would they do that, when they can earn more just by working???? I know that's the kind of question that wouldn't occour to some of our slothful natives, but it's very much the view of the types coming here.
Fourth, they then spend this money in Britain -- even the ones who save much of their wages have to eat, drink, rent accommodation, replace worn clothes or broken goods, use public transport, etc. Not only does this directly provide others with wealth as they spend it in shops or give it to landlords, but it multiplies through the economy as then those people spend more, and so on. Further, even if immigrants don't pay tax (they actually do in most cases, but let's pretend they don't for a moment), the places they buy from do, in the form of corporation tax, personal income tax, and VAT.
Fifth, Britain has a demographic problem. Immigrants help. If they have higher birthrates, so much the better. Our birthrate is too low not to have serious effects on our economy. Soon, there won't be enough people working and paying taxes and creating wealth to pay for pensioners. Every extra person working and paying taxes reduced the per-person debt burden. This is important.
Sixth, Britain is not overflowing. Cities are high density. But not compared to places like Tokyo, Seoul and even other western metropolises. The rest of the country is LOW density and could take extra population. Scotland, for instance, has almost the land mass of England but about a tenth of the population. Don't keep trotting out this fallacy that Britain is overflowing because its an island.
Finally, immigrants are industrious and hard working. Look at America. It's been an economic powerhouse for the better part of a century. Sure it has geographical advantages and lots of natural resources, but key to its amazing growth was accepting immigrants. The whole country is built on the idea that you can go there, work hard and be what you want. That's what immigrants bring, hustle, burning desire, work ethic, dynamism. I wish, instead of berating "paki shops" for kicking white owned shops out, or "poles" for stealing our jobs, the malcontent, apathetic and often bone idol sections of our society could learn from these guys: there are jobs out there if you want them and you're not afraid of hard work.

Re: OT: BNP
I work in a department that deals with foreign nationals, just to clarify a couple of things.stujones wrote:Can someone answer me.... Is Skelp right in calling Polish people illegals. From what I have read - they have as much right to work here as we do, as they are members of the EU. Well providing the get hold of a NI number - which is a relatively straight forward task for those living in the EU.
A national insurance number does not mean someone has the right to work in the UK, its all depends where there from.
The guys and girls that can come over here and work with no visa are from Austria, Belgium,Cyprus,Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece Ireland Italy Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands (Holland), Portugal Spain Sweden .
these can come over and work with no extra bits needed
European Union A8 Countries: Czech Republic, Estonia Hungary Latvia Lithuania Poland Slovakia Slovenia
These can come over and work, but are supposed to get a workers reguistration card, within 1 month of arriving in UK, most don't because its a pointless money making exercise .
then you have Bulgarians and Romanians, these have freedom to come and go from UK, but do need a work permit to work employed. If they go self employed they don't need a work permit.
students from these countries studying here can work, but also need a work permit.
Iceland Liechtenstein Norway, are part of the European Economic Area (EEA), so can work here as well , with no restrictions.
Switzerland are a law unto themselves , and can do what they want (mainly because every leader has money in their banks)
then of course you can have people from outside of these areas, rest of the world, these would need a visa to gain entry to the UK, some visa's allow work.

Re: OT: BNP
Its frightening how this so called political party is gaining so much support. Stirring up racial hatred should not be the agenda of any credible political party. I along with most people back in the 50s and 60s was against the "open gate" allowing so many people from other lands to come and settle here. Something needed to be done then to curb the numbers. We cant undo things that happened in the past and supporting the BNP that is against our ethnic population will solve nothing. The last thing we want in this country are homes fire bombed and people beaten up and killed which is what will happen if this organisation grows. People either forget or dont know we actually invited people from India, the West Indies etc to come here and fill our job vacancies. There were many low paid jobs the the British people didnt want but West Indians in particular were pleased to have. As far as homosexuals are concerned, as long as they dont make it too public, what they do behind closed doors is their business.

Re: OT: BNP
Mate I cross the street if I see a group of black youths, or a group of white youths for that matter - with good reason, they all carry knives and shooters round where I live, and have three pitbulls with them.Terry D wrote:Nick Griffin himself looks like a gimp/nonce, never trust a man who can look two people in the eye at the same time. Physiologically he is a lost cause in my opinion.
The main problem, as I see it, is that the BNP are similar to psychics and other con people, they prey on the vulnerable and disenfranchised and know how to push the right buttons to get what they want. Immigration is the main one. People talk about Poles and others nicking our jobs but in experience they do the menial type jobs that Brits refuse to do, or the building jobs that the Brits have screwed for themselves by shoddy work and poor timekeeping.
When I worked for the Job Centre we had lots of immigrants phoning looking for work. Some of them would be well-qualified but they would take shitty jobs in order to be out there working and earning. Then you had the Brits, mostly white working class youths who left school early with no qualifications and who refused to do menial work and wanted something more. "I'm not F-ing doing that poop!" was their mantra. You've seen the types, in bed until 4pm and talk like they live in Spanish Harlem.
This is anecdotal evidence but at least it is not falsified by the pollsters and corrupted by interpretation. On at least two occasions I saw dads bring their sons in and explain to them the score for signing on under the proviso that, "You'll be doing this yourself soon." So, in my opinion, the Brits are not having jobs stolen from them, we have produced a generation that is incapable of working and are paying the price. My girlfriend and I are seen as the odd couple in our area as we both work and do not have any substance issues. In this sense we have more in common with the Muslims/Poles living near us than our fellow Brits.
So you have these F-ing useless people sat at home without work, without money and looking for someone to blame, so they blame the people who come in and do the poop jobs that Brits used to do, back when we had a work ethic. Parties like the BNP help people avoid the truth, on many levels, as they provide a demonic other to pin the blame on. I'm not saying that there are not problems, but the Brits have created a lot of them by producing a generation of complete fags who won't stand up to be counted.
The other problem is that liberal PC values have, ironically, produced a climate of complete absolutism in which complex views cannot be accommodated. Remember people who used to use racist words but would work/live side-by-side with people of colour and differing creeds, I do, but they've disappeared and all that tension, once let out by banter, is now buried deep and simmering, to the extent that we no longer know one another any more.
I work with racist people. They would correct you if you used certain slang terms but if a travelling family moved in nearby by, or, god help them, a family of blacks they would worry how this would impact on their suburban bliss, and house prices.Or, they would cross the street if they saw a group of black youths. These people are not used to dealing with other cultures so, say, they have to deal with a black person they will talk like the Lilt man, trying to ape an accent in order to be understood by the black person, this is crude in my eyes, and I see this a lot. People no longer realise that, beneath the accents and whatnot, we are all quite similar.
These people are fundamentally racist, but they hide this behind ultra-PC values, it is a reversal of fascism in many ways. Look at the protesters last night. Faces contorted in rage, the threat of violence, intolerance of free speech and other world views, these people are worse than the BNP as they pretend to be so much better when they really are not. They actually strengthen the position of the BNP.
Letting Griffin speak was a sound idea, as he is a tit. Unfortunately, he was picked on and bullied by the panel and, crucially, the supposedly impartial host, no one likes a bully, so people, normal people, will support him on last night's evidence. The whole charade was a home goal.
The BNP are idiots, led by middle-class cretins who are themselves out-of-touch with the problems we face, they just edge their bets and cater to what people fear, rather than what they need. If the idiotic protesters, living out their fantasies of being able to change the world, come to their senses they would realise that the best way to overcome the BNP is for people of differing creeds and colour to join the party. Attend their meetings, block their agendas and show them how ridiculous it is to have a racially closed party in the current world.
Failing that, join me in acknowledging that politics and history is a charade, neither truly exist. We are locked in a holding pattern and are about to lurch back into 1979, so sit out the bad days and wait for the good ones to roll around again, then make some hay.
And no, I ain't exaggerating.

near enough word-for-word that was also Griffin's view on QT last night. As far as homosexuals are concerned, as long as they dont make it too public, what they do behind closed doors is their business.
