Sky (maybe spoilers) bit of a whine...

Post by whicker »

Main event was sheer class, but damn, why do sky preview David Haye when there are 2 good fights they could have shown live.

Could you post the Napa result in the Spoiler thread? I've got to run...

Tonight they should have done a 9.30 start, Napa vs Davies first then Moore vs Rhodes, ah well.

this was always going to happen when sky limit themselves to 2 hours and they advertise 3 fights to show. you'd think when they advertise fights they would show them in full. this show last night and the one next friday night deserve to be longer than 2 hours. surely they could schedule the boxing for 2 and a half or 3 hours when the card warrants it. and worse case scenario if the show ends early and they have nothing to show they could show some filler until the next programme is due to start. its not as if they dont do it for other sports. of couse if a soccer match has a delayed kick off or goes to extra time they just delay the next programme or change the schedule. they dont decide to only show the first half of extra time because they are out of time. and its not as if the programme after the boxing is live , its normally a rugby or soccer match that was live earlier on being repeated.

im dreading what way they will carp up next friday nights bill. if both the main fights last fairly long then we propably wont get to see much else of the bill.

i dont know why im suprised though , on the last khan ppv they had a half on hour left on the show and they totally ignored brook/lomax and the enzo fight even though both were short. and on box office its not as if they had a scheduled programme on after the boxing.

i used to really enjoy the hayemaker shows on setanta and the hennessey itv bills. the shows were well spaced out timewise and there was no rush trying to fit in. we got to see the main fights from the bills in full.

they have given us some quality bills recently, and have some great match ups to come, but i do worry for next weeks liverpool show.we have got to have both bill toppers on live plus both olympians.with five dedicated sports channels, this is surely not to much to ask.the Gavin-Saville bout is intresting and surely too much money has been inveted in DeGle to not show his bout?
