1 - What does this mean exactly - define fairly, whose definition of fairly, this is rather wooly thinking, you need firm policies not vague notions of fairness.finchy36 wrote:It is simple. All the British people want is the following:
1. A Government that will put its own people first without discriminating unfairly on others
2. Treat criminals harshly - life means life etc. 10 years mean 10 years etc.
3. Be honest with our kids and get rid of political correctness
4. Be true to its people and stop scoffing the trough - stand up to Europe without excluding ourselves
5. Bin the human rights act
Unfortuantely, ALL politicians are in it for themselves and don't care about us - and if we want to go really deep then we all know that they don't run the country anyway.....................
Griffin is a dick, but some of the things he says are bang on - other things he says are ridiculous...
we just need someone to stand up for British rights without being racist or extreme....SEEMPLES!!!!!!!!!!
2 - Where are we going to find the room to put all these criminals, our jails our full to bursting point already, and prison populations are increasing every single year. - people who go in for minor misdemeanours such as council tax evasion -should not be in jail, there is little chance of rehabilitation in Jail, as the prisons are full of career criminals - not the best company to keep. Jail is not just about punishment - it's meant to rehabilitate criminals as well, in this it is failing miserably.
3 - Be honest with them about what exactly, - what is it they are being lied to about precisely - again, very vague to the point of being meaningless and useless.
4 - Again, stand up to Europe about what precisely, what is the problem that needs addressing. What would you suggest, pulling out of the European union? That would be a disaster for the UK - Europe is now a larger trading block than the USA and still growing.
5 What do you have against the human rights act? There may be some parts of it which can be turned to the advantage of criminals or other undesirables, but most of their cases are thrown out of court as they simply don't have a leg to stand on.
The honest truth is that none of us really has a clue how complicated the job of government is, politicians are dealing with hugely complex issues, which have no obvious solutions - if it was so easy to crack, we'd have a utopian society years ago.
