A light middleweight who has lost to a welterweight. Medley's conquerer, Isaac Hlatshwayo, would be a better fight, and he's a welterweight.

My trainer has received calls that he wants me after Medley.

An obscure amateur boxer from SA with a losing record.

I'm surprised he hasn't called earlier.

(I thought he had, but turns out that was actually Shannan Taylor, but he found out that I was Aussie not Thai so pulled out)

I think Medley has a chance. He has a good Jab and good power. The Hlatswayo losses will have taught him a lot. And id say Hlatswayo although smaller is a better fighter than Mundine. I also think Medley looked to skinny at Welter and Jnr Middle. So Middle weight should suit him .

He also has a corner that has seen Mundine up close and will be able to put together a good strategy for him.

I have to disagree Ben,I dont think Medley would even lay a hand on him! Ive seen Medley and Geale spar numerous times each other. He looks way to small for them. And he hasnt taken on good fighter's of late to step up to Mundine! :DD

I still think He is far better than another Argie import. Medley will at least try. The last guy in with Mundine ran further than a marathon runner.

I also think the boys down at Grange should be able to work out a decent strategy. Cosidering they seen him up close in the last fight. If Medley can get his jab working he could make it hard for Mundine.

You may be right as you see them spar etc, I still think Medley will put up a good fight.

Maybe im being a bit blinded, I like Medley's fighting style. He always comes to fight and hardly takes a backward step. I also like the fact he decided to test himself against a guy like Hlatswayo even though a lot of our other fighters wouldn't. He wasn't content to just sit back and take the road a lot of our other guys do.

That being said Mundine hasn't looked impressive at 160 and if Medley trains well and is in top shape i think it will be a good fight.

Robby is a good fighter but not a great fighter. Mundine would be too strong for him.

I think Mundine would be to quick for Medley, in saying that if Medley keeps busy he will give Mundine a touch up thats about it, Medley is no slouch, he is a good combinatin puncher, good jab, but Choc on points for me. :box:

This fight would be a joke.....Medley is in no way ready! Mundine easy points victory!

Medley needs fights against Dawson,Singh,Waters and Davidson at LT Middle.

I agree with this, but I think once he gets beaten by Geale, he will retire........ I also think that Robbie will give him a run for his money..... Medley comes to fight, every time. His turn in the ring with Mundine will be no different.
