I rate Sakio very highly and hope he doesnt turn into another Mundine does not take full advantage of the position he is in.
I realise that sometimes fighters can't get the top quality fights but he needs to get back to the USA and get on some big undercards (once again, easier said than done). I hope he gets a decent fight soon.

It is only three months since his last fight. How many main events do you want him to fight in a year?

Maybe so, but if Sakio organises a fight he is going to have the IBO banging on his door demanding he defend against some no-hoper they regard as a contender.

Is it his fault some fighters have trouble taking a punch? He had five fights in '07, including the "Contender" series. It is hard to keep up that rate against ranked fighters. He is bound to be asked to defend his IBO title shortly. It will be a year this month since he won it.

Im not blaming Sakio personally for his inactivity or lack of quality oppnents, there are many issues that impact on the ability to get quality fights including no quality opponents wanting to fight you. I'm a fan of sakio's who believes he can be a force on the World stage and should be soken about in the same breath as the top guys out there, and he isn't. He needs to get exposure in the USA. If he is going to KO second rate opponents, do it on a big card.
