As far as I know, the only film of Choynski boxing

is of a long retired Choynski sparring with Jim Jeffries before the Johnson fight.

I have also seen a film of Choynski walking down the boardwalk in Atlantic City with Jim Corbett.

Choynski appears to be about as tall as Corbett.

Choynski had a powerful upper body and scrawny legs.

When politically correct shill Ken Burns made his 'documentary' on Jack Johnson, he did mention that Joe Choynski knocked Jack Johnson out,

but Burns refused to show the full length picture (a well known photo to those with interest in the topic) of Choynski.

Ken Burns cut off the bottom half of the photo, since it would have shown that Jack Johnson was knocked out by a fighter with incredibly scrawny legs.

Sam McVey - facing that guy , no thanks

Before the Johnson-Willard fight starts you can see Sam McVey in Johnson's corner, acting as one of Johnson's cornermen.

McVey grins at the camera when he sees it is on him.

It is ironic that McVey is there to help Jack Johnson

since it was Johnson who deprived McVey of his chance at the heavyweight title by refusing to give him a shot at his title

[along with depriving Sam Langford and Joe Jeanette of their rightful chances at the title, also].

There is a film available of McVey against Jim Johnson.

Jimmy Jacobs told me he had several other films of McVey.

I wonder what has happened to them now that clueless ESPN has their hands on Jacobs' treasure trove of fight films.
