I think you're seriously selling N'Dou short there. The man has real class but you speak of him as though he were a mere punchbag like Tackie.

Pinto, unproven mystery man whose reputation was built of very little, can punch, but then so can a lot of fighters.

And how many of these guys that can punch has Hatton faced (who aren't plodders or 40)?

Augustus, talented but unpredictable fighter who would probably give Hatton some problems, but he's not exactly a name opponent.

Agreed about the name but it doesn't stop it being a 50-50 match.

Branco, European level fighter who does well against world class opponents, but who is not world class, is favoured by his points loss to Gatti, who was recovering from hand surgery.

What so part of Arturo's recovery was to take part in a 12 round boxing match? Branco is plenty more capable than anyone Hatton faced in 2004. The more I think about it the more I see him upsetting Witter.

I too give Hatton a chance against Tszyu, I don't believe Tszyu is the monster everyone seems to think he is these days.. He is a tremendous fighter yes, but not unbeatable. I would favour Tszyu but think Hattons youth, stamina, pressure and underated boxing ability would give Tszyu a real run for his money.

Lets hope we get to find out.

My point is that Gatti didn't really want to test his hand out too much, and held back a bit against Branco.

I don't think Branco is anything too special, as I said decent fringe world class fighter, look at his record, most of it is full of european contenders.

The main problem for Hatton IMO is cuts against Tszyu, Tszyu has massive power and i really think at some point one of those big right hands is going to open one up...if it's early on then i don't see anything but defeat for Hatton. If Hatton can avoid a cut and that is a big IF i give him a chance but his style is very in your face and i just fear a big shot or a head clash is going to slice his face up.
