What the F**k
Re: What the F**k
Eh? Surely he's not the first... Diaz after his defeat to Pacman swore repetedly! That was a WBC fight.

How bad was the interview?

Re: What the F**k
This surely is a joke?????
If a fighter can't be forgiven for swearing after a fight then WTF is the sport coming to? After coming through a fist fight, with adrenaline pumping, does anyone really expect fighters to behave like church mice?!
Its like when commentators apologise to the viewing audience if there is any cursing in between rounds. I mean is there anyone sad enough who'd tune into watch some boxing of a night and then complain because they heard a bit of swearing?
Political correctness gone absolutely nuts. This is beyond daft though, imposing bans could affect some fighters career's. Its pathetic.

Re: What the F**k
Not bad atall. The man was upset a used a few F words out there in frustration. That he's been banned for any length of time over this is retarded.Flav1 wrote:How bad was the interview?

It's says the WBC approved the ban, eh?
They are not an athletic commission, so what's it got to do with them?

Re: What the F**k
Biased tokenist hogwash.
What if Vit Klit had been the loose-lipped one, would his next defence be delayed until March?
Would the WBC's war on profanity have been so committed as to see them missing out on sanctioning fees?
Yeah, right.

Anyway, Arreola's interview was a breath of fresh air to me, a fighter really showing his true emotion after a tough fight, plus it was pretty funny to see it from a big guy! This ban is a complete load of bollocks

Christ, what a load of garbage this decision is. A six month ban for swearing, in a sport where people get bones broken and there's blood all over the place!
Truly ridiculous. Who gives a fiddlers fart if he swore?

Re: What the F**k
absolute joke. Sure if they banned everyone in boxing that swore we would have half less boxers and no cornermen! I d say theres more to it than Arreola swearing, there could be some disagreements between WBC and his manager or promoters or something stupid.
Re: What the F**k
its stupid but he dropps the f-bombs before and after his fights hes probably the worst offender out there at this time
Re: What the F**k
As ArtofWar says, the WBC are not an Athletic Commision so I can't see that it matters one way or the other in this instance. Presumably the WBC are scoring some goody points with someone? Complete nonsense.

Re: What the F**k
Just to be contrary, those roused by the suspension are the joke. This is Chris Arreola, you all think he would have been back in the ring before March having been pulverised by Vitali?
Oh, and, wouldn't Arreola still be rated by every other organisation.
And wouldn't he just fight opponent without it being a WBC eliminator.
Are the WBC suggesting they wouldn't move him up the rankins if he beat a WBC top 15 guy in a bout they didn't sanction as an eliminator.
Are they going to ignore his fight if he has one?
Its all just a nonsense, both the announcement and the powder puff outcry about it oh, yes, and his credentials as a heavyweight anyway.

Re: What the F**k
What's powder puff about it - it's a rightful reaction to a totally pathetic and ludicrous statement from the sanctioning body, whether it's ineffectual or not is not the issue, it is the fact the statement was made in the first place.

Re: What the F**k
Actually Chris Arreola is due to fight on December 5th
the WBC ruling carries no weight whatsoever in terms of stopping him fighting again in America as they are not a boxing commission, only a sanctioning body so they can only stop Arreola from from fighting for a WBC belt of some kind(there are about 10 different kinds i reckon) by not sanctioning the fight which won't effect his fight in December at all.

I'm sure the ban could be waived on payment of a sufficient fee...

Re: What the F**k
Ridiculos ban him for showing a bit of emotion ![[icon_knockout.gif] :KO:](./images/smilies/icon_knockout.gif)
Re: What the F**k
Ridiculous yes and it shows the poor logic used by the WBC but can't Arreola just go and fight for other titles and say to hell to them?
Re: What the F**k
I wish this rule applied in Prem Football League.
Re: What the F**k
Bellew better hope the BBBofC don't follow the WBC's lead and go at him for his winning rant last friday. ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Re: What the F**k
Who the hell do the WBC think they are,if it wasn't for brave boxers risking their lives for world titles then they wouldn't even exist, they owe it to the fighters not the other way round,i hate the WBC
Re: What the F**k
Mind your language or you could get banned from this forum (Ban fully endorsed by the WBC).sg1985 wrote:That's an effing joke!!!
