Kevin Mitchell
Re: Kevin Mitchell
is mtichell turning hs back on burns figth and going to fight prescott?
Re: Kevin Mitchell
Yes he is and at lightweight. The Prescott fight will get him more noticed on the British and World scene than what a Burns fight would considering Prescotts result againts Khan. My feeling is that Mitchell will go after Khan depending on the result of the Prescott fight. Who do you think would win, Mitchell or Khan?Alba wrote:is mtichell turning hs back on burns figth and going to fight prescott?
Re: Kevin Mitchell
Khan would beat Mitchell imo!
Re: Kevin Mitchell
I thin Khan would beat Mitchell at the moment. I think further down the line it may well be a different story though
Re: Kevin Mitchell
Will Burns fight Cook for the vacant title then on the bill? The bill looks weak at the moment especially if this is ppv!

Re: Kevin Mitchell
I actually think if Mitchell boxes like he did in the first four rounds of the Johanssen fight he can beat Prescott. If he allows his heart to rule his head and gets drawn into a brawl however, he's likely to lose by KO.
However, I simply can't see any scenario in which he beats Khan - just can't see him coping with Khan's speed and athleticism particularly given Khan is naturally the bigger man.
Anyway, as I stated in another thread, I just can't see the match happening. Cue a bout of flu or injury two weeks before the fight, a dispute over contracts etc...

Re: Kevin Mitchell
i think mitchell has made a big mistake and burns will now be the man to beat in super featherweight
Re: Kevin Mitchell
after watching cook's last 2 fights he should never be allowed to box again, any promoter or trainer that encourages this should be ashamed of themselves, he is a shot fighterleforge wrote:Will Burns fight Cook for the vacant title then on the bill? Re: Kevin Mitchell
think he was asking why he left cook not about his personal life, he left cook for many reasons, he made a good move going with the tibbs they will have mitchells best interest at heart, and take him to a higher level, iron out his flaws to make him a better boxer and the mitchells had a baby boy and amanda is not his ex, where he got that news from who knows, just goes to show you cant rely on what some people gaggle on aboutTHE PRINTER wrote:hes got hes ex up the duff and he dont wanna go out to america for 3months b4 every fight...big lennox wrote:Why has he switched trainers?
