Cracker if that comes off, really interesting fight and a chance for Mitchell to almost leapfrog Khan in terms of perception.

Mouth-Watering.

Bet someone pulls out injured.

Mitchell would get blasted if this fight was at Light welter where Prescott's next fight is taking place and no way is it going to take place at Super feather so doubt its going to happen.

Will Burns fight on bill still? This December bill looks poor so far!

I think this is a cracking fight and can't wait if it goes ahead.

If Mitchell stays calm and throws combos and gets out quick enough he could win but if he don't manage to keep his defence tight after throwing his punches then he will get beat easily.

This is a type of fight that Warren should be getting for all of his top fighters, rather than taking the easy options.

Surprised Warren is going this way. I presume Mitchell either can't make 130 anymore or Warren can't get him a shot at Martinez which is ridiculous as he's his mandatory.

Prescott is fighting in Russia on the 28th of November for some crappy WBO LWW belt so this fight wont be on the 5th December..

So Mitchell needs to move up to lightweight, and Prescott needs to move down a weight ... ??

Sounds like just name dropping to me.... I'll believe when its announced as currently they are two divisions apart (Prescott announced some time ago he'd be campaigning at Light Welter whereas surely Mitchell's best weight is superfeather?

Could be a tough fight for Mitchell.

Prescott is a big lightweight and Kevin would need a tight defence.

Well it would certainly make Khan vs Mitchell more interesting. I would rather see Mitchell stick to Super Feather for a little longer.

big mistake by wazza. mitchell is WAY smaller then prescott and mitchell's defence isn't great!!!! prescott will ko him. can't see kev mitchell doing anything at lightweight. he could have been champion at super featherweight but lightweight no chance

Has Wazza lost interest in Mitchell I wonder this is big risk! Does anyone else think the undercard is poor for Khan fight if its on ppv?

how can you say this bill looks poor so far?

Khan/salita
brook/jennings
mitchell/prescott
burns in a commonwealth super-feather title fight
simpson/bell

plus degale, gavin and saunders

dont think many would agree with you that this is a poor show

Christ. What's Warren thinking?

It's already been proven that Prescott can be outboxed but he's still all kinds of 'wrong' for someone like Mitchell.

I guess there's 3 possible reasons for it, the first might be to test the water for a Khan rematch, the second might be that it's simply time for Mitchell to sh*t or get off the pot in terms of continuing to invest in his development and the third could be to sway those with doubts about paying £15 to watch Khan take on one of the most underwhelming and protected fighters in the game... it's the difference between me buying the PPV and catching a free stream.

Brook v Jennings might not be on, I think its weak if its ppv as we all know Khan is not very popular! Simpson v Bell what has Bell done to deserve a shot. Burns in another commonwealth defence these are two substandard Friday night fights. Who gives a fornicate about the olympians in mismatches!

continuing to invest in mitchell's development.since when? if he really wanted to wazza could have got martinez over here for big money. it's clear mitchell can't make weight tho
