Green V Jones Jnr Undercard?

Post by Hounddawg »

I would have thought with the fight as big as it is we would get a very decent undercard.

Obviously not..

You're Kidding.....That's the best they can come up with????

A great show can be put on here that would keep fans coming back for more, and give some good local talent a chance to take there careers to a different level.

I can see Danny is staying loyal by keeping the Wills boys on the show but surely he can find a more credentialed opponent for both boys, these guys feed on losing fighters.Stylistic wise they are very ugly to watch as well, give em a walkover opponent and you could find yourself fast asleep and watching the result on Foxsport news in the morning.

Willie Kicket fighting a superbantam WTF.... 6 rounds.

I would love to be able to say i wouldn't go/watch but the main is just so tasty, i'm just a little disappointed that there isn't even a decent undercard fight...not one.

it shouldn't be like this though. A fight like this should generate enough income to create decent purses for all fights (not massive, but better then average). This would attract good level fights and may give some guys the opportunity to be seen by many. It looks like an opportunity lost to me.

Kickett is out, injury - this time a motorcycle instead of a window. Stevie Wills will not be fighting Campbell but instead you will not be able to bag the lad with his opponent's credentials :OhYes:

I thought they would be able to sort something out with getting a giood overseas fighter, maybe someone from RJJ stables, on the undercard.......but hey, it's a bit like winning lotto and whinging. We still get the main event !!

If you promote the fight as the biggest on Aust soil at least have a quality main undercard!! Why not get BJ FLORES down under he stated that he was happy to come here just dangle the carrot of a chance at the winner and get him a quality Aust opponent....but who would/could that be??

Never the less got tickets to the fight and counting down the days!!

Danny Green has been using Dominic Vea as his sparring Partner and he's been holding his own.

Daniel Ammann has been in good form.

I would like to see Flores come down and call one of those 2 out.

For it to be truly an unforgettable event you need at least a semi main.

I'm sorry to Steven Wills for saying this but he's not a crowd pleaser....he doesn't get your blood going like the 2 fighters in the main.

Adam wills is exciting if you match him with someone of his own ability......but is that really what people want to see on an event like this???

Jackson Asiku fights for the IBO title this Friday against a solid opponent and backs up on this card with a six rounder.....if he wins on Friday he'll own a version of the featherweight title and a month later fight a bum in a 6 round contest WTF is that.

On an event like this another cruiser(world Class) should matchup with 1 of our own local talent with the winner to fight Green next.

Or if Danny is to go back down to LT heavy the same deal should apply bring in an import(world Class only) to fight Tim Bell with the winner to fight Green.
