Reading's former British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Michael Sprott has been nominated to fight undefeated German boxer Cenzic Koc for the vacant European Union heavyweight title.

Purse bids for the fight must reach the European Boxing Union's offices in Rome, Italy by 12.00 on January 17, 2005.

Koc is not up to much at all. Sprott should beat him. Koc's pretty damn slow.

wow, this means koc probably won't be a future harrison opponent.

I can see michael winning, although i haven't seen that much of koc.

Koc starts slow, but isn't bad when he gets going.

sprott will beat koc on points but get robbed by the german judges just like he did when he fought timo hoffmann in germany. Even the german fans were booing when they announced that decision. One more thing - koc beat audley harrison in the amateurs.

Koc from what I hear got an absolute gift decision against Dominguez.

Koc vs Dominguez was pretty even, I had it 5-3 Koc, but Koc didnt look good.and Sprott should have any trouble winning over him. Koc chin isnt good. He was KOed very badly in the Sydney olympics.
