Another thing. Why has Sky accepted this fight, again? They just keep showing mismatch after mismatch after mismatch. They are being totally played and the real fans are being insulted. THIS IS Exactly whats killing boxing. Its totally plain to see. Its so crap occasional fans don't care and it totally sickens die hard fans and they turn off.

I'm sure the win against Michael Bennett and the points loss against Jirov were the deal makers.

Looks like LaMontagne has a weak chin after the Thomas loss but a decent punch...so you never know against Enzo.

Sports Network know Enzo hasn't got a world class chin to go with his punch so expect a year of calculated WBU defences with some Hobson, Haye and Thompson dodging. 8)

RICH LAMONTAGNE KO 11 MICHAEL BENNETT

The major question about former Olympian Michael Bennett has been his chin and he provided the answer in Friday night's ESPN2 co-feature. He doesn't have one.

Bennett entered his bout against Rich LaMontagne with a 9-2 record, but both of his losses were knockouts against low-level opposition. Bennett dominated the early going in their scheduled 12-round both, outlanding LaMontagne in each of the first four rounds and five of the first seven.

The eighth round brought a dramatic turnaround. Bennett, who had never been past five rounds, appeared to be tiring quickly and LaMontagne, who had never been stopped in 31 pro bouts, stepped up the pace. He put Bennett down in the eighth, outlanding him, 12-7 in the process, and took the ninth with a 17-7 connect advantage. Bennett attempted to rally in the 10th but he was obviously running out of steam and his night came to a crashing end in the 11th.

LaMontagne rocked Bennett with a series of blows to the head and then flattened him with one savage right hand. Referee Charlie Dwyer never bothered to count and summoned medical help immediately.

Bennett was ahead on two judges' scorecards at the time of the knockout and outlanded LaMontagne, 143-138, thanks to his early domination. Over the last four rounds, however, LaMontagne had a 59-32 connect advantage.

The 32-year-old LaMontagne, who is making a final concentrated bid at a title shot, raised his record to 27-4-1 with his 22nd knockout and could be in line for a solid payday against a big-name cruiserweight. Bennett, meanwhile, has to realistically consider retirement after being stopped for the third time in 12 fights.

As for Jirov, I'm just predicting how the commentators will hype the fight.
