Rogan/Sexton & McCloskey/Rasilla

Post by GlobalBox »

Anyone know for definite if Sky are showing these live, one the McCloskey fight on there website last time I looked.

Feel happier if the promters put there running order out, just not sure they will do them both live, pretty sure we will get Rogan fight but could it be earlier and then its all in the can and ready to go so to speak.

Anyone seen Wazza's running order for Belfast

very good point

Theres another fella that does some of the post fight interviews-Ed i think is his first name, cant think of his full name but he had a few amateur fights when he was young, Im sure he would be able to commentate and theres enough retired boxers in Ireland who would be happy for a few quid to co-commentate.

Any word back from the McCloskey weigh-in? As luck would have it it was only down the road from me, but at the same time as Rogan-Sexton so I went into Belfast instead. Would have been better if they'd separated the times further apart!

Rasilla looks a lot bigger than I remembered

Paul McCloskey and Daniel Rasilla both made the weight at the first time of asking ahead of their European Light Welterweight title fight at the Meadowbank Sports Arena in Magherafelt tomorrow night (Friday, November 6th).

Both were comfortably inside the championship limit of 140 pounds with the undefeated McCloskey tipping the scales at 139 pounds and 4 ounces while Spanish Champion Rasilla scaled 139 pounds exactly.

The bout is live on Sky Sports 1 from 10pm tomorrow night.

Friday Fight Night Tonight

Post by forcefraser »

This has probably been discussed before, but I can``t find it.

What is actually being shown on FFN tonight?

Is it the McCloskey fight or the Rogan fight or both??

This is very unfortunate for boxing fans in the 6 counties. These are two very good shows and Im sure plenty of fans would have wanted to go to both.

Waiting for buses come to mind...

hopefully this is an indication that Ulster fight fans prefer to see their fighters in action over a hasbeen flogging a dead horse and charging £100 just to have a photo with him after you have paid a similar amount to have dinner and hear him speak.

Another good FFN card I see McCloskey winning on points and Sexton winning widely on points or even stopping Rogan late keeping him at range and boxing him :bag:

Sexton will get KO'd this time. its a mockery Rogans having to fight him again in the first price. The ref should definately have stopped the first 1, doctor wasn't needed Sexton wasnt throwing and he will definately go this time.

Rogan will finish him and love doing it :box:

Rogan should concentrate this time....last time he clearly forgot where he was...very comic.

Rogan to KO Sexton midway. McCloskey by wide UD. No way will Sexton do what he did last time. Rogan had a bad night all round when they met before. He wasnt concentrating enough for some reason, which is why he was wobbled and got cut. This time Rogan will look the business and dominate throughout.
