Rob McCracken has been given the job of leading the performance programme for British amateurs leading up to the 2012 games, he replaces Kevin Hinckley, after a dissapointing world championships.
He'll still be training pros as well
Thoughts?

He will have to navigate his way through the politics of the amateur set up in GB - Richie Woodall soon got sick of it.
Rob is a cracking coach though, so I have no doubt he has the knowledge and ideas to put a structured programme in place.

Be interesting to see how he fits it in with training the pro's . Apparently Froch is moving his next camp to sheffield to train at the national centre.

It comes down to opinion but telling you now - McCracken is a top coach always has been and everyone who has ever worked with him does not have a bad word to say - he is top class.

McCrory had a cracking set up at Newbiggin Hall bringing two Cubans across who really knew their onions only for it all to go tits up as the lottery funding committee wouldn't subsidize it, guess they thought rehabilitating down and out crack heads was more important.
